No it is not. Dark soy sauce are meant for color. This is a type of light soy sauce on the sweeter side.

Can this be used to marinate meat for jerky??

I don't see why not. It will have a slightly sweeter flavor profile after dehydrating I would think.

It’s very salty. I combine it with soy sauce for soup.

Does anyone know the TN percentage for this?

1.7 I think. It’s in Korean, but that was the only percentage I noticed on the label. It’s the highest quality of the commercially available soy sauces though. It’s very good with an almost cocoa aroma.
