Hiya, There is no mention of aptx on the Tozo website, various NC9 reviews or the NC9 packaging itself. Taking that all into account, I would say that these buds do not support the aptx codec. Regardless, I really like the sound quality out of the box, which can be further improved via your music player equaliser. Hope this feedback helps 👍😀

Q: How much can you hear when in transparency mode? i'd really like a pair of buds that can let sound through as well as cancelling it out. thanks

Very little to be honest, there is a slight change between noise cancelling mode and transparency mode...but not enough to make a difference when you’re trying to hear what someone is saying to you, I still have to remove the buds.

Personally I have to disagree here completely these are the best set of headsets compare to the high-end range which I also have I also have the sleepers because I have trouble sleeping I can put these in you just Gotta make sure you’ve got the new upgraded version Providing you nestle them in your ear correctly and use the small tips and turn them . They will fit flush . I’ve three pairs and one m amazed at the battery life and sound quality . I’ve always been a Bose and beats fan but bought these by accident and now have three sets , home, work and back up and they are brillant .
