The draw of polygamy
A true oldie, and almost lost to posterity. 1931's 'Facination' is on occasion quite engaging, and a good watch for those with a keen interest in an era long-gone. 'Madeleine Carroll' (who would later make the classic '39 Steps') is billed as the top draw. And for my own viewing, it was nice to see the delightful 'Dorothy Bertland' again. The source material for this restoration however proves to be the downside. The print is not on par with other Network releases in the range and the sound is poor. I needed the subtitles.
