The Silver Swamp: A Branches Book (The Last Firehawk #8)

My grandson is 6 and is in 1st grade. He really enjoyed this series. We started out reading one chapter a night but often he would want to read another. The pictures are very nice with plenty of details.Great series to help a child learn to love reading.

Great book for my 8 year old daughter. We've been trying to find a book that would keep her interested in while reading & she enjoys reading every time she opens this book.

The book is fantastic. My children love the series and couldn't wait for the release of this book. I wish that shippers would do a bit more to protect soft cover books when they ship them so the cover does not get bent, but that doesn't diminish the book and its contents

This book is one in the series. My daughter and I enjoy this book series. She was so excited to keep reading. We keep pre-ordering these books and can't wait until the next one comes out.It is an adventure about friendship, teamwork, and being helpful.

This series is fantastic for 1st and 2nd graders. My kids love it.

Very sweet story about friendship and how it can grow in the face adversities. My granddaughter and I have been reading this series together. She is making the transition to chapter books. It worked like a charm.

We had already read two different unrelated Scholastic book series. Scholastic first chapter books work for us as they have lots of pictures (usually one per page) and yet the storyline is always captivating. We want to introduce chapter books without many pictures, but these books are perfect for the transition from picture books to chapter books (picture books are rather expensive if you need a new one every night).They LOVE the characters and even more so LOVE guessing what will happen next.Whenever possible we use the Kindle edition and broadcast it to our TV via our Amazon Firebox (via wireless projection) so that everyone can see the text and the pictures. Unfortunately not all the books are available for Amazon Kindle, so some books we had to buy as hard paper and we are running out of space in our bookshelves as we have sooo many books, so we prefer electronic copies. Electronic copies also allow us to share it onto their Amazon Fire tablets for kids.Again, loved all of our kids and we have different ages and "grasp of the world".

Arrived today right on time, in excellent shape. My daughter is very excited to read it, she has the first 3 books from the bookstore and the other books from amazon in this order actually, lol.

I gotta get these books at an accelerated rate!!! My daughter finished on the day she got it!!! She's starting to outstrip the reading level...
