Challenging questions
So much fun. Challenging questions from many different eras. We've played this for hours and haven't made it halfway through the questions yet.

Not Easy
I'm giving this 5 stars but in all candor, it hasn't been too popular with my friends. Quite honestly, it's HARD! I knew I'd do a little better than my friends, which I did, but I was flailing about myself and my friends started actually getting angry. "You should return this. This game is stupid. No one knows all this stuff!" That was an actual quote and think of the irony. "The game is stupid" and "No one knows this stuff". Now, I liked the difficulty level so I'm completely satisfied. But I don't know if I'll ever get to play the game again. No one wants to play with me. :-(

3.5 stars - not perfect, but good...
This game is really good, but it relies on tons of questions on things that really aren't horror. Tons of questions about stuff like Sharknado, or comic books, and things of that nature shouldn't be in the questions. There are also lots of questions about stuff like Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I know nothing of this stuff, so I can't answer any questions on the non-horror content. Now, as far as the actual horror content goes, the questions are deeeeeeeeep and varied. The real questions are great for horror fans, and some are extremely hard. The board is standard Trivial Pursuit stuff, but you get special markers and player tokens that are pretty cool. I would give this five stars if it actually stuck to "real" horror content.

It’s Trivial Pursuit, so just about everyone knows how to play this. Question content is excellent, except I find there are a high number of questions around recent horror TV shows etc. I haven’t memorized details from American Horror Story and others. I would have preferred either an “old” horror version or a category specifically for newer tv shows. That aside, I enjoyed the game!

I'm a life long horror fan - books, comics, films, art - all of it. This game seemed like it was going to be great, but if only they'd put a bit more thought into making it. For starters, the most obvious thing is that the majority of the questions rely on knowing the full names of minor characters and places and these questions get tiresome, quickly. The questions are often poorly written with several mistakes in spelling and grammar. Worst of all, some of the answers are just incorrect (e.g. the character mask from 'New years evil' it's answered as 'Laurel Hardy's (it's Stan Laurel). I was really excited about this game for months, but man, what a disappointment.

As a horror fan, this game is incredible! The questions are tough, even for the most seasoned fan (not just the basic Freddy, Jason etc questions) The game pieces look awesome too! It's going to be the new classic around here.

Complaints about the trivia questions being too hard are confusing - the questions on my cards cover all horror mediums. I've had questions on everything from Rob Zombie films to obscure sci-fi/horror authors. Trivial Pursuit is traditionally a challenging game, and these questions are no more challenging than other versions. I do feel for the price point that the game itself could use some polish. The choice to make the board brown with runes is an interesting choice with so much horror iconography available. For the price, the pieces should be metal or properly painted plastic figurines. Otherwise we will be getting a lot of use out of the game!
