The authors have extensive mentoring experience and it shows throughout the book Not so much for acamedicians, although technically sound, the book is appealing to layman because it is easily read and laid out for quick reference. If you are a Big Brother/Sister, coach, teacher or just have a young friend that looks to you for guidance - this book is well worth having.

The book is an excellent resource for the field. Practitioners and mentors who want knowledge that will improve their practice will find themselves turning to this book many times. It avoids the technical jargon that can so easily render such books incomprehensible and, importantly, it is focused on clear strategies for putting the latest research findings into practice.
