When I first read about the d30 material, I remembered another device that implemented this tech. A lo g time ago, Alpine car CD decks used the same material to dampen shocks to the player so the CD wouldn't skip. Alpine gave us a ball made out of this material and we would demonstrate it by throwing the ball to the floor as hard as we cod. It would hit the floor and just stop.The case is impressive for its thin and slim design. I've dropped my phone several times, once on the pavement when on a bike ride. The phone hit hard and just stopped. No bounce. Cool stuff!But, like other clear cases, it browns. And the crystal color doesn't last

Love the look and feel of this case. However, I am shocked in how easy it scratched and scuffed! But, its job is to protect my phone and it has done that so far. Would I buy this again? Probably not. It is expensive to have the clearness not last. I have not used my phone hard at all and the case looks like I slid it on the ground. Mainly the phone is in my pocket, in my hands, on my bed, or in my bag.

You would think for nearly a $50 case this thing would keep your Galaxy s20 plus safe from a 2-ft drop. Nope. I accidentally dropped my phone when I was coming out of the bathroom and it hit the carpet and the back panel shattered like a spider web. I would not buy the case again.Don't waste your money get a better case.

Very sturdy and seems like it will protect very well. The clasp/snap to open is a bit tough, but I expect it to loosen over time and be a little easier to open - but if it drops, I dont expect it will come open at all - which is the point, right?

The color on the case is fading so fast. I would love it if it was coated on the inside and not on the surface. Thats what you get when you pay under 10 dollars for something.

Case looks good and feels solid in the hand. Not slippery; the texture on the back gives a nice grippiness to the case. It does add a fair amount of bulk to the phone, but that's the tradeoff you make for better protection. Where this case falls short for me is the buttons - the power button feels like it's not quite properly lined up and as a result, pressing feels mushy and unreliable, and is activated inadvertently when holding the case.

WTH getting this thing open each time and because of the this the latch snapped off. The skin is also fraying.Now the latch is Broken off. This case is pure junk.

I've purchased 4 cases for my s20 phone and this one is my favorite. It's slim and durable. Grip feels great. By far the best case I've ever had.

I have had Gear4 D30 cases for my previous mobiles, so had high expectation for this one. Upgraded my mobile to a new S20+ and looked for the case I knew and which had served me well previously. New GEAR4 Oxford Eco arrives quickly with good service from Amazon.Open up from a smart looking GEAR4 box to reveal woven finished phone case. Looking further and assessment of the GEAR4 Oxford Eco, it is a major disappointment.It does NOT have a magnetic type close wrap for the front mobile screen cover. It has a HORRIBLE and CRAP hard plastic clip which has to be pushed to close, one hand ok, and pulled to open, needs two hands to open without risk of dropping your mobile. Opening one handed is difficult and restricting. The catch is virtually a deal breaker because opening the phone cover quickly to answer the phone will be prone to dropping the phone. But hey it's OK as the case will protect my new S20+ phone from lots of impacts, but who need that!!!! Inside the front screen cover it has two card slots, which in my case serve as my Work Security Gate Pass holder. I do however have to open the front cover to register the contactless card onto the security system. Opening this case will now be a chore while fumbling to open. This case needs someone at GEAR4 to seriously rethink their design as fit for purpose. It states the reassuring impact protection of my previous GEAR4 D30 mobile protection cover which has served the test of time. But without the quick one handed simple phone access offers little more than a vault to secure my new mobile. Doubtful I will keep it and time will tell how the woven canvas effect cover will wear.

I've had the case for just over a month and the iridescent design has scratched badly across the case. This is just from very light wear, sitting on a desk for the most part. I've had Gear4 cases before and they've been very good, so this was a disappointment.

1) Phone would not fit in the case, camera aperture not big enough, fouling the mobile being able to push into the case; but being an engineer I could adjust this with my dremel, so I did. Bingo, got the phone fitting in quite nicely; not a bad job, even if I say so myself.2) Volume up and down buttons in the wrong place. Volume up was just about usable but volume down was below where ought to be, toward the on/off button. Nothing I could do about this, as they are moulded in a set place on the edge of the case.Had to dremel the case to get the phone in, before I could then see the button placement in the moulding was not right.Conclusion: do not buy this product; it is not right for the S21+

As previous reviews state, the iridescent coating was badly scratched within weeks. Poor design as had the iridescent coating been on the inside it would've been fineas the case itself is great and has stood up to many drops already!

I don't like the fact that this case is not scratch resistant. Yes it protects my phone but makes it look uncared for. I bought a case from this company before and it was very good. Maybe its the colour that shows more scratches than before. It's just ok I'm afraid.
