My daughter is an animal lover is to why I got her this. I am a big fan of silver and I have boughten lots of expensive silver at places like Michael Hill, Pandora. This necklace is as equal to what you would buy at these high selling jewellery stores. At half the cost. It is even stamped with the Italian silver right down to even the chain. I thought I was just paying for the pendant but even the chain is a box linked, thick, stamps 925 chain. I was waiting to get it to see if I would have to purchase a different chain and it is perfect for my ten-year-old daughter. The clamps are your regular silver hoops so we will see how good it holds up but it is not a dainty chain that's for sure. I would totally recommend for any animal lover or even as a high end looking gift! I always like to write back a couple months later when it comes to jewellery and silver and will keep you updated as to whether it tarnishes are not. For now worth every penny!
