A+ customer service!
Dynotag cares deeply about its products and customers. If you have any questions or concerns at all, it is 100% worth contacting their support department. I was initially doubtful about the toughness of these laminated tags, but the support department answered all my questions and assured me that they are well made and tough. Customer service informed me that the tag is printed on synthetic material and then laminated, and is weather hardy. They can be used with damn near anything, including scuba gear and surfboards. I was unaware that these tags also come with a 1 year warranty, which gave me extra peace of mind. The folks at Dynotag always replied quickly to my email correspondence, and with thoughtfulness and kindness. I am very grateful for the excellent service, as I find it a rare quality in business these days.I purchased the tags for my dogs, to use as a back up for their traditional tags and microchips. The big, messy, adventurous puppy loves everything about outside, most especially dirt and water. He has been wearing the tag for almost two weeks now and it is doing great. I did a few test scans and the technology works without a hitch. All the info popped up on my smartphone quickly and the mobile interface is simple and effective. Typing in the info on a PC works the exact same and was also easy to do. Managing the account is also a no brainer. Everything works just as it should.I showed a few of my friends and they are excited to try QR code tags for their own pets. I also saw on the Dynotag blog that the company will gift a tag to good samaritans who return your stuff by using the tag, all at no charge. Very cool little reward incentive!I do want to mention that my dogs do NOT bite at their tags, so if your pups are very chewy, your mileage may vary. Again, these were a back up for me, as the dogs already have personalized engraved steel tags and are both microchipped. At around $20 for 3 laminated tags, it was a fair price for the tags and lifetime online service. Dynotag does offer steel tags that are coated in epoxy (? i think) for those who need extra toughness, but I couldn't justify it for my situation. They also have a ton of other tag styles for all types of uses, was cool to browse the website for a bit and get some ideas!TL;DR - Great company, excellent customer service, great product. Worth a try if you are considering it!

Works well for my pets.
My Dynotags arrived within a day of purchase, and were easily registered on their website. I tested two of the tags, and they worked as expected. I really wish there was an affordable product that could actively monitor my pets, but this is a great option. My pets are already micro-chipped, so this is an added layer of protection. I've never lost my pets, but I have feared that if lost someone would keep them instead of turning them over. This provides a way to track down my animals in that case. Hopefully, they would get curious and scan the chip, even if they didn't contact me. Practically everyone with a mobile phone has a QR scanner app or can easily download one for free. When scanned it will ask the individual to use their location but without clarifying what it is for, so I feel in most cases someone would allow access to their location. If they permit location services, it is amazingly accurate. If they don't allow use of location, at minimum the company will have a target area for which you could search for your pet. I'm very please, and it is a small price to pay for some peace of mind.

Very nice. Will be recommending this to many people.
I purchased these for different applications. One, was for my kitty cat who is a whopping 5 pounds so the size of this tag works well for her. I love the fact that you can change all of your information at any time without having to pay additional fees. If somebody scans the QR code, you will receive an email notification of their whereabouts. You can put whatever text you wish on these which makes them great for more than tracking your animal. You can have your pet chipped, also sold on Amazon, but that only works if your pet is found and taken to a shelter or vets office. These are great because anyone with a cell phone, everyone, is capable of scanning a QR code. Even if they wanted to ignore it and keep your pet, the second they scan that code, out of pure curiosity, you'll know the location of your furever friend.

My opinion varies from those high ratings ...
These are okay, but I"m not all gushy about them the way some reviewers are. First, there's the issue of initial set up. It's fairly simple, but a rather convoluted web site -- yeah, it's easy, but the layout and design are terrible. First issue I had was if you leave a field open, it instructs you to "click my account" -- well just where the hell is my account and those words are no where to be found on the page. I guess simply making the "my account" a hot link was too much trouble. Well, here's where you find "my account" - click the home button and then you have a "my account" as one of 21 options to pick from. The other issue I had was providing two different owner addresses ... there is a field for a second address, but if you change the primary on one tag, it changes it the other. Maybe there's a work around -- I haven't found it. I have two dogs and my son who lives a few miles away has one - so three tags were great -- except I have to list all three dogs at one address. Not a show stopper -- but should be an obvious option. As far as the tag itself -- whew, I thought $18 was a good price -- but I bet it didn't cost $0.15 to make one of these tags. So, you are paying a fee for that web site -- which isn't anything to write home about. Very cheaply made and I have my doubts about them holding up (and all of my dogs are house dogs). If you are buying these for any other reason than to perhaps have a back up system for you pet's identification, well -- you may trust this -- I don't. Mine dogs are already microchipped -- but that presupposes that someone would take the pet to a vet for identification -- of course, this method hinges on the finder of a pet to either scan the QR or to go to a web site to make an inquiry. I'm pretty into technology, but I didn't have a QR app and had to go download one before I could view my tag registration so it's not a given that Joe Citizen is going to make use of this technology. I think I'm going to buy a slider tag -- in other words, the old fashioned way ... that and buying good strong leashes and checking collars for tightness.
