Rago Women's Extra Firm Zippered High Waist Long Leg Shaper

Great support - far better than Spanx, and the boning is gentle and feels great as it supports my back and posture. The leg bands are a little snug but then again, it doesn't ride up (or down - in terms of the waistband) AT ALL. I had hoped for more compression and a little bit of a snugger fit. For reference, I'm 5' 8" 148 lbs, size 6/8 with thighs & rear that make pants too snug for my comfort. Based on my waist measurement, I am a medium. I'm not sure if small would be ok, but I expected more compression in the thighs and rear like there is for the belly (which is not really my issue). This is the most comfortable support garment I've ever owned, and the cost is well worth it - very high quality and value. The zipper is fantastic - I at first used the clips and zipper, but then started using just the bottom clip and the zipper so I'm able to use the restroom without the discomfort of trying to use a "gap" in undergarments. I also prefer wearing underwear beneath, which makes "gap use" on any garment extremely delicate, to say the least! LOVE the zipper, just wish there was more compression overall.

I have a 32" waist and 44" hips (around the widest part), and the X-large fits perfectly! It doesn't cinch in my waist at all, but it takes almost an inch off around my hips. It does have a flap for peeing so (in theory) you don't have to take the whole thing off to go, but I tried putting it on without underwear and the fabric was so uncomfortable against my vulva that I would never consider wearing it without panties. The fabric is not soft, and it's a little itchy at the top and around the thighs, but not unbearably so. The legs are long enough that I don't get any thigh chafing, but the fabric makes a fairly noticeable sound when I walk (I think I'll just stitch some panels of other fabric to the place where my thighs rub together to deal with this). Overall, it does a wonderful job and is absolutely worth the price. I agonized over buying it for months, and I'm very glad I finally gave in!

I was going to a cocktail party for the first time in a while and wanted to wear my classic little black dress, which was very tight now since I had not shed all the dreaded extra pounds I gained during covid 19. To get the look I wanted, I knew I would need some help, especially with my figure. So in addition to the velvet opera length evening gloves, a beautiful corset, a lace garter belt, back seamed stockings, lace thong, I bought this girdle (Rago high waisted), all in black.The girdle is very, very firm, and turned out to be somewhat difficult to get into and to close the hooks on the side, and then zip the zipper up, but worth the trouble to get the results I wanted. I thought the girdle might "loosen" up after I wore it a few hours, but I found instead that it was getting more uncomfortable by the minute during the evening event, but so was the corset, and since they overlapped at my waist, I couldn't tell which was causing the discomfort, but it was probably both.I overcompensated by drinking too much champagne. I quickly found out that champagne, corsets, and firm girdles don't necessarily compliment each other and that the bubbles from carbonation didn't want to stay in my tightly restricted stomach for very long. When I went to the ladies room to "freshen up", I found it very difficult, if not impossible, to relieve myself through the small slit in the crotch of the girdle, all the while trying to pull my thong to the side with my gloves still on. So instead I decided I had to pull my girdle down. Unfortunately that meant I had to first take off my gloves, take off my dress, unlace my corset as the high waist of my girdle was entrapped under the long torso of my corset. I then had to undo and pull down my girdle without snagging my stockings, and pull my thong to the side or down. Of course all this was going on while I was also doing the pee pee dance, made more difficult, of course, because my 6 inch stilettoes were slipping on the now wet marble floor of the stall. Yes, I was unable to control my bladder urges, nature called, and ended I up wetting myself, the floor, said girdle, my thong, a few of my garters and the tops of both of my stockings in the process.I had laugh at myself and the situation, or else I would cry and ruin my makeup. I pulled my self together, wiped off the best I could, and got redressed.I wore the same outfit a second time to a speakeasy themed bar, but before I did, I told a good friend of mine about my previous bathroom woes. She suggested that instead of going through all that bother that I wear absorbent panties and booster pads under my girdle. I had no idea what she was taking about but a little research cleared it up. I was a little apprehensive at first about peeing into my panties on purpose while in a public place but she said she as as close as a cell phone call and would talk me through it. So my second dressy event for the season went much better than the first. Although I keep postponing it, the time eventually came to relive myself as she told me not to wait for mother nature to take over, and not to gush. So for the first time ever, while standing at the bar in the speakeasy, I relived myself. I almost fell off my heels when I felt my panties fill with the warm rush of wetness, but remained poised as best as possible. I called my friend and she congratulated me on my debut "performance". I relieved myself several more times into my panties over the course of that evening with no major issues. I did have a reasonable size bubble in my girdle between my legs by the end of the night but my friend assured me that was normal for the amount of champagne I had consumed. I did get some seepage running down my garters (which I had routed under my now very wet panties) and the top of one of my stocking had some splatter staining, but nothing like my prior meltdown I now wear and use absorbent panties & pads whenever I wear this girdle and would recommend you do too although it can be scary at first

This undergarment is very well made with quality materials, but it is not designed for tall people. It’s also not designed for plus size. I previously ordered an open bottom high-waisted girdle in a size 7x according to the size chart. It was too big and too short in the torso so I had to return it. I ordered this item in a 6x and it fit, but it fit weird. For example, it flattened my rear and, although it did shape my tummy, it wasn’t a good shape. I expected more of a rounded tummy, but I was just squished flat. I’m 5’10”, 300lbs, and measure waist 45” and hips 56”. I am very curvy and this garment unfortunately obliterated my curves. From a front view I had a bulge on each side from my pannus, bulges at the hip, and in the back an impressive muffin top. Whew! I think this undergarment was not designed for someone who is obese. I think it’s just a scaled-up version of a regular sized garment that doesn’t address the issues of a plus size body. Also, the picture and description is inaccurate. There are no garters on this item.

User 23.: hier gings mit der grösse nicht gut aus. War etwas zu gross bestellt. ( die US Größen sind nicht immer gut definiert. Die Qualität ist erstklassig. Da ich hartweisse Farbe liebe, (eher als Puder oder Elfenbein, ) wäre dies ideal gewesen. Leider gab es die miederhose nicht in der kleineren Version. Werde nochmals Nach ordern, nach dem Urlaub.

Passt sehr gut. Ich liebe diesen Stoff. Schade das es keine Strumpfhalter gibt.

Amazing shapewear but probably best under pants and not a dress. Due to the type of material they make noise when you're thighs rub together as you walk.

Honestly these are the most amazing knickers. Sucked everything in and gave me the most perfect figure (a hard task as I've lost 8 stone). Very comfortable too. Highly recommend.

Fits true to size and is very comfortable. Don t try to go one size smaller, it will be too tight.
