Have just started to use this and so far is working great. Have hyper one year old dog who likes to let other dogs know he's the boss when out walking. I press it once for a second & it stops him charging and pulling my shoulder from its socket. Also works in house re barking at anything that moves outside (leaves, birds, planes) & hoping it trains him to behave with better dog manners.

When it comes to some things, you get what you paid for and that’s what happened with this product. I wasn’t sure if it would work for my dog who is extremely reactive to dogs when they walk past our apartment or car.First the piece that the battery connects to was loose with wires. I was able to press the battery in to hold the wires back into place. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t work, or maybe it’s cheap and others had this similar issue.The lights for training mode do not work. The laser does work, however not a peep comes out of this device, even if you put your ear against it. I tried it with my dog, my parents dogs and my neighbors dog and none reacted.Maybe I just got a poorly made one or part of a bad batch but I wish I would’ve put the $7 towards a more expensive one for a fair try, maybe it would’ve been better quality.

Upon me first getting the device, it works maybe half of the time. Not sure if it's the device itself, or my dog. We got it mainly to just train our dog to not bark at familiar faces when entering the house, but the training piece hasn't worked as we hoped.

This item is very easy to use and I was amazed at how well it works on my rambunctious 2 year old kitty. She is always climbing and trying to reach unsafe places and I have been going nuts trying to find a way to stop her from these and other unwanted behaviors. It works best when she is looking at it and the light and sound are enough for her to stop in her tracks and run away. She seems to have learned from it as after using it a few times I have not seen her try that particular climb again. Unfortunately, it had no effect on another of my cats so I guess each cat is different in this regard.

I just received the product and used it with my dog when she was barking to my printer. She jumped a bit, scared with the unexpected noise. Next thing I know, she was starting to bark at the window to a neighbor and all I did was to show her the device, did not actually used it. She stopped barking right away. Success!

After just two presses of the button,our dog's behavior has totally changed.The device gets his immediate attention and he now is re sponding to our commands and loves our praises and the occasional treats.We would recommend this device to anyone.

I bought this one to replace another cheap ultrasonic deterrent that actually worked great until I dropped it.This one does nothing. I have a brand new battery in it and when I use it to stop my dogs from barking they act as though I wasn't there. One of them will actually start chasing the laser dot and then spends the next 30 minutes pacing the house looking for the darn dot. I don't even think it's worth the time to return it. I'll look for my original cheap ultrasonic deterrent and order another one of those.

Was excited to get it. Our small dog was barking at the front door. Turned this unit on and pushed the button. The dog kept barking. Tried another setting and the dog kept barking. However, the dog did see the red lazer light on the floor and started chasing it for a few seconds and then went right back to barking. Product seems well made. I'm only sending back because it does not work for our do. It may work for yours.
