Tarrago Filling Paste - 50ml Leather Filler Repair Compound - Leather Restoration Crack, Burns, Tears, Holes Filler

I recently used the Tarrago Filling Paste - Leather Filler Repair Compound to fix a tear on the front seam of my motorcycle seat. The tear was caused by my foot hitting the seat as I got off the bike, and being right at the seam,I thought it would need a professional stitching job and a new piece of leather.However, this amazing product filled the gap perfectly, creating a smooth, flat black rubbery repair. It looks fantastic and blends seamlessly with the rest of the seat.I'm confident the repair will withstand the movement and pressure from getting on and off the bike.The product is reasonably priced, and since you only need a tiny amount, it’s enough to cover a large area or to share with friends who have small tears like mine.I'm very happy with the results and highly recommend the Tarrago Filling Paste for anyone needing a quick and effective leather repair solution.

This was very easy to use as someone who has never done any type of shoe repair before, and had very limited knowledge of leather care/repair. I used this to fix a pair of shoes I purchased online that had even more extensive cracking/peeling than what is shown in the pictures below (I'm using pictures from the original listing, as I forgot to take before photos myself). The seller claims they were from the 90s, and they now look good as new. I did need to use some black liquid leather polish/dye afterwards, as this dries down to have a matte and sortve dusty appearance, but after very light sanding the texture blends super well with the rest of the shoe.

I followed guidance on the internet web page of the product to fix my leather shoes and sport shoes, it really worked to mask small cracks. I hope the coating so formed lasts for a long time, say, one year or more.

I have an office chair with the faux leather on fabric and it has been peeling off and I decided to try and use this to reapply that faux leather and it's working pretty well so far. I can tell it will eventually peel off again someday, but for at least the arm and head rests it's working for me. Also this stuff doesn't feel the same as the original, which was kind of stiff, this reminds me of those plush leather couches with the puffy arm and head rests.

I've spent the last few weeks learning leather repair... Have purchased all kinds of stuff and experimented on some very rough black leather car seats, with major wear and cracks. This stuff is unique in that it dries to a super flexible yet durable coating. You can add another layer within 10 to 15 minutes. It's sandable which is just amazing as it almost feels like rubber when dry. Then you just simply top coat with a clear coat finisher like a matte or satin. Or you can paint it, then clear coat it. I also used it on my steering wheel that looked horrendous, totally peeled off, and just using my finger and applying three coats it looks amazing. Has a great feel to it when dry.The only product that is superior would be the professional heat cure compounds, where you have to use a heat gun or iron with a graining pad. I did figure out a way to add grain texture to this by simply taking a black leather jacket, and pressing it onto the wet surface, and peeling it off. It's water soluble so it just wipes right back off the leather jacket.These are a newer type of product called water-based polyurethanes. By being water-based it is extremely easy to work with. It doesn't get all tacky and difficult to apply.

Good paste for leather repair. Make sure your leather is really clean. Apply in layers allowing it to dry between coats. Allow it to dry overnight before color is applied. This is a good way to repair cracks in seats. Reasonable, durable repair. This is clear/white so you will want to dye the the seat with the appropriate color.

Tried to fix small cracks in my leather shoes. Took a few days to painstakingly patch up the shoes and let it dry between each layer. The cracks opened right back up, and bigger, as soon as I wore the shoes.

I have a pair of black logger boots that I love but the dang rabbits in my house got to and chewed up the leather on the toe of my left boot. Made me angry and I had no idea how to fix it. After some time, I found this stuff and thought I would try it. It worked really well and I can barely tell where the damage was now. Best of all, I haven’t done anything to make it really blend in yet. It dried very well and the sheen nearly matched what was already on the boots, which made the repair quick, easy and seamless. I didn’t use much, so now I have quite a bit more in case it happens again. And knowing these rabbits, that is a good thing!

Utilisé dans le cadre d’une réfection de talons de chaussures pour masquer les petits défauts et unifier la réparation. Très bon résultat. À voir dans le temps bien sûr.Pour la mise en œuvre je conseille d’étaler la pâte avec un petit pinceau plat très fin, que l’on trouve dans les magasins de loisirs créatifs.
