Works really well, until it doesn’t… UPDATE: but great customer service!
Update 8/2024: I wrote to the company letting them know about the broken faucet. They had me open it up, inspect it, and check to see if some wires had gotten loose. None of that worked, though I did see that moisture had definitely gotten into the casing that houses the motor (note: but not the battery pack), so I could see how over time this would break down. After going back and forth, the company agreed to ship a replacement faucet from their overseas warehouse free of charge to us. We received it a couple weeks later and now we have a working faucet again! My 3 year old is thrilled.Original review (2 stars):We purchased this one year ago and it quickly became one of my daughter’s favorite toys. I recommended this to at least half a dozen friends. It worked well up until a month ago, when we left on a trip (made sure it was stored dry) and when we came back today, it will not work, even after 4 different sets of batteries. Unfortunate since we were really looking forward to using it during this heat wave.

Great for helping developmentally delayed child access important skills
I bought this sink for my daughter's 3rd birthday, partially because she loves to play with anything that involves water and partially because I wanted to provide a more accessible way for her to learn self-help skills like washing her hands. My daughter has a rare chromosome disorder that causes low muscle tone, developmental delay (especially in motor skills), and autism. As a result, it is difficult for her to use step stools, climb, etc., which makes our regular sinks impractical. By placing this sink on a table at her level, she can walk right up to it safely. Before, we had tried using a water cooler over a basin, but the knob/switch on the water cooler was difficult for her to turn on and off. In contrast, this faucet is very easy for her to turn on and off. This gives her independence--something we can't take for granted. She was so excited about this sink that she learned the skill of washing her hands very quickly. She now chooses to do it on her own accord before meal times!Autistic children often have trouble learning to "pretend play," and this is something that doesn't come easily to my daughter. With this sink, she immediately loved pretending to wash the dishes. (She also brings random toys to the sink for washing, too.) She can spend upward of 30 minutes playing with this sink, which is impressive for sustaining her attention. After about 2 months of usage, unfortunately the faucet stopped working. We contacted customer service, and they were really great about instructing us on how to try to fix the faucet and then replaced our faucet/sink for free when it couldn't be fixed. I am hoping we don't have a similar issue this time because, as you can see, this is more than a toy for my daughter, and I'm really grateful that such a product exists!

Great toy but breaks after a while
This play sink is so fun and great for toddlers! Unfortunately, it’s very finicky and getting the water to run was not always instant. Now it doesn’t work at all. It was a Christmas gift and probably last about 4/5 months. It’s too bad because my 2 year old loved this toy and it was one of the few toys he would actually sit down and play with. I have friends who also had this toy and they had the same experience.

Great toy, fun to play with. Awesome customer service.
Please read the entire review. Let’s start with Cute Stone’s customer service. If there was a separate rating for Customer Service I would give them a 5+. My daughter recently purchased a Color Changing Kitchen Sink for my grandson. While it worked he loved his functional sink and spent hours playing in the water. After a couple of weeks the sink’s water pump stopped working. My daughter gave me the pump on my next visit and I began to trouble shoot the toy’s failure. It was quickly apparent that the pump was not repairable. I called Cute Stone customer service and explained my issue and findings to Syd an awesome customer service rep. She was not able to send me the parts required to fix the sink’s pump but immediately sent us a new toy. Cute Stone listened to my problem and did not hesitate to resolve our issue. Thanks Cute Stone and Syd, outstanding customer service. Now for the Color Changing Sink itself. The sink packs loads of fun for those kids who like to play in the water. The base sink and toy utensils are reasonably well made and will stand up to active toddlers play. The water pump and faucet are more problematic. The pump is OK and works well but is subject to corrosion and motor seizure. Let’s be realistic this is not an expensive toy and I believe “you get what you pay for”. That being said I would recommend the sink but be aware of its limitations. Here’s what I would suggest, after each play session remove the pump and faucet assemble, gently tap the assembly to help any trapped water to escape from the bottom and let the pump air dry being careful not to cover the water ports on the bottom of the assembly. The Color Changing Kitchen Sink is a really fun toy, good luck I hope this helps.

Tons of fun in a small easy to store package
My baby loves water and playing with this sink! She’s constantly asking to wash her hands because they do it a lot at daycare. We used it indoors on a rainy day with lots of towels but won’t do that again! It’s stored outside in a small bin which we then just flip over to place it on top for her to use. Like that the water keeps recycling for flow unlike her water table.

Great for Montessori play
My child is 2 and loves this sink. It’s easy to use and is portable. The quality isn’t the greatest for the cost, but it gets the job done. The accessories help with imagination play. Giving it 4 stars because the faucet stopped working after 1 month of use.
