This is an excellent praying for the loved ones going through radiation treatment
This cream was very well and soothing and relieving radiation bombs on the skin. The only complaint I have is that it only comes in 2 ounces and it is very pricey. It provides excellent relief and is very rich to moisturize the skin after Treatment

It was recommended by my rad team at City of Hope and ...
I made it through 6 weeks of whole breast radiation using both Miaderm lotions. I began with the one that does not contain lidocaine and then switched about half way through to this one only because I was worried, probably needlessly, about any side effects that might have been cumulative. Both products are the consistency of body lotion and can be applied right before dressing. I had the tube in my purse and applied it in the dressing room after each treatment, immediately put on my clothes and left. There is no staining or stickiness. It was recommended by my rad team at City of Hope and I am glad I used it. It was worth the price and I had no abnormal side effects from the radiation, no skin breakdown, and no interruption of treatment.

Miaderm got me through radiation treatments
This product really helped me get through my radiation treatments. This was my second bout with breast cancer and the first time I was so badly burned I had to stop treatment for almost 2 weeks. My skin was so charred I was in constant pain. This time I used Miaderm and made sure to drink lots of water. I still got a bit of blistering in a couple of small areas but I did not have to interrupt treatment! I got through with much less discomfort and the skin will not take nearly as long to recover. Highly recommend using this a week before starting treatments and continuing for a month or so after. 3-4 times per day. And drink plenty of water! It's not cheap, but for me it was worth every penny!

Four and a half stars!
I have had five weeks of radiation treatment. This product has worked very well for me. The packaging information flyer states that Miaderm should be used about a week before radiation treatments begin. I would recommend making the purchase of the standard Miaderm and use as recommended on the Miaderm L packaging. I recommend the Miaderm L for relief of the burn. I have used it since day one and only now am I experiencing any burning. My Radiation Oncologist is very impressed with the way that my skin is holding up. If it wasn't for the expensive price of Miaderm L she would recommend it over Aquaphor. The price was something I struggled with before finally deciding on making the purchase. I read all the comments and took a chance. Very happy I did. I use it in the morning and as soon as the treatment is finished, then use Aloe Vera gel several times a day. I finish the day with another treatment of Miaderm L. A small amount is all I find is needed. It's not thick or greasy and it absorbs into the skin nicely. I do turn the cap up because when opening it tends to run out. I hate to waste it due to the price. The price is why I'm not giving it five stars.

Lidocaine is the key to relief
I used this after radiation my breast was itchy and sore from a lumpectomy and this was really worth the money. I bought a second tube it was so good.

Use Miaderm and Miaderm-L Best lotion available.
This was a life saver. I have never written a review on any product before but, I need to for this. I was scared going into whole breast radiation. This product worked wonderful my radiation oncologist was very impressed with what little skin irritation I had after 18 high dose treatments. I did get a little red in the end and a little bit of peeling but really nothing like everyone anticipated. One down fall was that safety cap ended up keeping me from being able to open the product at times but the company fixed that by sending me a new one without cap. I ended up only needing to use the Miaderm-L Radiation Relief Lotion with 4% Lidocaine a couple of times in the end because I purchased the Miaderm lotion and used it numerous times a day prior to and during treatment.
