READ FOR HONEST REVIEW: These shorts are really cute, nice quality! But they do run HUGE! My son is almost 8 he’s VERY skinny usually wears a size 5 in shorts. I bought these in a 5 & they’re just a tad too big. I did wash them to see if I could get them to shrink a bit in the waist & it did a little bit but I can tie them tight with the drawstring to keep them on his waist! I’m definitely gonna order a 4 just to have a better fit for this summer but I’m still keeping the 5’s. Definitely worth the buy but I’d size down like 2 sizes!

I love these shorts and I had a hard time finding my 9-1/2 yr old Grandson nice comfortable quality shorts while he was husky. Well last year I found them. He's now 10-1/2 yrs old and slim as ever in a growing spurt... even more handsome!!! His face has slimmed down. He is big for His age. Going into 5th grade next year...but He has now graduated into Men's wear sizes. Mostly small but some mediums. Let me tell you...these shorts are costly but they are worth it. Excellent quality... Dress up or down. And they are only Big boys sized. Don't quote me on the sizes but I ordered XL both last year and again this year. And His shorts only say 3X. And China. No company name. This leads me to believe that the MEDIUMS are more like boys XLARGE1 Which I find strange bc they're made in China. But they are big in a good way if your husky boys are hard to fit. I believe the LARGE size is really an XL2 and the XLARGE LISTED IS REALLY THE SIZE I HAVE WHICH IS THE 3X. So in reality, the listed XLARGE Size is more like a Men's Small-Medium IN THE Amazon listing. THESE RUN LARGE BUT PLEASE DON'T COMPLAIN BECAUSE THEY WILL FIT SO MANY HUSKY BOYS NOW. LET'S KEEP THEM THIS WAY. I SWEAR BY THEM!!! Listed as 70% Cotton, 25% Polyester, and 5% Spandex. Thank you for listening. Please don't relocate these shorts into Men's. Good shorts but run big. My grandson wears 10 slim jeans. I ordered 8. 8 is still too big.

Deliberately sent the wrong size. I ordered size 12 and they sent size 8. Something needs to be done to stop this company doing this. If it is a system error on their side, then fix the issue. After reading reviews they do this repeatedly to buyers and then when asked to resend the right size, still send the wrong size. Also the shorts were not 100% cotton, but had polyester in them as per the tag.
