Color Control Purple Toning + Styling Foam – Instantly rids Blonde & Gray hair of brassy, yellow tones, Alcohol free, crunch free styling

This product worked very well, although it made my hair really dry, but it definitely got all of the brassiness out of my hair. I am about a level 7 blonde or a level 8 blonde. I first got in the shower and washed my hair then I got out and I put my hair in a towel. Let it soak in the towel and then I took it out and blowdried it just a little bit and then then I added the product and then I blowdried the rest of my hair. 💗

This stuff worked immediately and perfectly. The gray hair at the sides of my head was turning yellowish. The instructions said the yellower the hair, the drier it should be when you use the product. So I used it on the sides after towel-drying the sides well, then combed more product through the rest of my hair (which was a little damper). Result: Beautiful silver color with NO yellow at all! This is so much better than the purple shampoo and conditioner I used to use, which didn't do nearly as well as WOW. (That stuff also permanently stained the white non-slip strips I had put on my tub floor.)

Disaster. And other reviews have had the same experience. Used as directed and it dried out my hair (I had just deep conditioned so that was a waste) and I could NOT get a comb thru it or blow it dry without major tangles I had to stop and carefully comb out lest my hair would have been ripped out. I used about an egg sized amount for all of my long hair too. Its not very pigmented either so did nothing to tone me and I was just a tad golden to start with. Puts a weird coating on your hair that stays. Ridiculous, you will be sad if you use it on long hair and your hair turns to straw. I had to wash my hair again just to remove the product and stop the breakage when I combed thru it and my hair was not badly damaged beforehand. I can't believe anyone is getting good results with this. Also, I used the dream filter spray ONE time and it completely stripped any toner i had on my hair. So beware, that product is supposed to to remove hard water deposits, well it operates like a clarifying spray and strips your toner. So disappointed in both of these products. Come to think of it I have yet to find a WOW product that actually works for anything.

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing this, but I just don't get it. I used it multiple times and the only thing I noticed about it was it made my hair coarse and dull looking. It washes out as a brown color and will leave a ring around your tub if you wash you hair in the bath. I used it on my hair and on some clip-in human hair I have. It didn't do a thing for either as far as color is concerned. For reference, I have blonde hair with light brown low lights.

Great product. Does not leave hair stiff. It blends well over dull blonde when highlights start to fade. It smells good. It doesn't really add much shine but I recommend it. I highly recommend all WOW products

This works really well for cutting brassiness and brightening blonde—super easy to apply and the tone looks great. BUT the texture is a little sticky/stiff for me. It kind of leaves my hair harder to style and doesn’t feel super soft. I honestly wish it came in a cream or oil formula. I started mixing it with the Color Wow Pop & Lock gloss (not sponsored, I swear lol) and that helps a ton with softness and finish. Overall, solid product but not perfect on its own.

I love ALL the Color Wow products! This is amazing for Gray hair to keep out the brassiness. It is not heavy on thin hair, it truly is amazing as is all their products. My hair is thin and gray. I get so many compliments on my hair and people think my hair is so much thicker than it actually is! I will use these products the rest of my life!

I love this product! It left my hair looking so much blonder. Also gave so much volume! I highly recommend!

I have only used this twice but I think there has been a slight reduction in the brassey tones. I am hoping with continued use they will dissappear completely 🙏

No greasing with this product and it's very light. No stickiness as with a lot of other makes.
