This is just an awesome beanbag chair, with real beans! I got version 1 of the original fat boy.It is much bigger than I was expecting but also lighter than the size would imply. I can easily move it around the house, but it is also heavy enough to feel like quality.The shape makes it so much easier to use as a chair. The beans add stiffness and back support where memory foam alternatives are lacking. It conforms to your body and keeps its shape.My husband is 6ft 2in(188cm) 185lbs and loves to play games in it for hours. We have had it for a month or so now. We have both fallen asleep in it multiple times now, so comfortable.We also have two toddlers that will not leave it alone. It is actually pretty dirty in these pics from the kids but still looks good. The material feels like heavy duty vinyl which makes it very easy to clean and the seams are extremely sturdy. The durability is amazing considering the all-day abuse it takes from a grown man and two 35 pounders treating it like a landing pad.I haven't seen a single bead outside the bag.

I was very nervous about this purchase, because of how big everyone said it would be. They were not joking, this thing is very large - especially when you live in a very small (<900sqft) home. However, it is so versatile that the size hasn't been a problem. Some people said things like "you wouldn't want to lug this thing around the house," and I completely disagree. We've moved ours around a lot. It's light and easy to move.I had also been concerned about our cat destroying it, but as someone commented on my question, the fabric does not really entice her to claw at it, and when she did jump on it and started to slide, her claws wouldn't even grab on and she just kept sliding. I give it an A+ on quality, resistant material.There are some seating options with it that none of the advertisements or videos offered. I found my favorite option through a different company offering a similar style of bean bag. You stand it upright, get all the beads in the bottom as you can, tuck one corner at the bottom under the bag, and tuck the corner above that down into the center of the top of the bag. Hold up the back, top corner, and sit. It makes a tear-drop shape that holds you up very well and is perfect. I have found tucking corners in when sitting on it really helps give structure when I get settled in.I also bought it mostly to be used as a "whole room" ottoman. It's big enough that we can "fold" it in half "hamburger style" and shift the beads evenly to each half and it sits up perfectly as an ottoman for several different seats in our living room. I didn't see anywhere where someone was using it for an ottoman. Thankfully it's such an intuitive thing to work with, you can play with it just a little and figure out how to use it to suit your preferences.I give this product 5 stars for quality, versatility, comfort, and style. It's a great product and the price I paid (~$200) was just right for such a unique, versatile piece.

Eh, we bought this for my teenaged son to use in his bedroom. After a week it became a "place to stick clean laundry instead of putting it in the dresser." Pfft. So I started bringing it out into the living room so I could lie down and browse the web, or whatever. This was great, apart from the caveats listed further down in the review. Each time I was done, we put it in his room again for storage, and he stopped using it as a laundry shelf.However, I was using it tonight and got up to get a drink of water, and our cat climbed up and peed all over it. It soaked into the cover before I could get paper towels to blot it up, and since the cover is not removable, we had no option but to discard it. Big annoyance. The frustrating thing is that this cat has happily used the beanbag as a bed, occasionally, and we don't know why he suddenly decided it was a litter box. :-(I realize this is not the fault of Fatboy, and this is not the reason I only gave three stars. I'm just putting that out there for other cat owners to beware. The reason I dropped to three stars is, if you're lying down on it, it's supremely awkward to get OFF the darn thing. Impossible for me while holding a laptop, so I had to set the laptop well out of range and then clamber around like a monkey trying to get back on my feet. And of course the fact that we can't remove the cover and launder it, that's a problem. To be fair, that would probably not have helped in our particular problem instance because cats can still smell 1 part per...million?...of urine, even if it's been laundered with scented soap, and he would probably just have returned to the scene of the crime. But in general, it seems like a removable cover should be an easy-care feature. I mean, kids spill stuff, etc. Removable would be nice.Lastly, the final star drops because eventually, as you sit or lie down on this, the beans shift away from the 'under butt' and spread out to the sides, so that after a half hour or so, there are no beans underneath you, and then you're basically just sitting on the floor. So that gets uncomfortable too.We really thought we'd love this, but it wasn't that great, not at this price. We're not going to replace it, even if we get rid of the cat.

Bigger than I expected omg but perfect

Den Sitzsack würde ich sofort wieder bestellen. Tolle Qualität, leicht mit einem feuchten Tuch zu reinigen und sehr vielseitig. Gäste nutzen ihn sogar als Gästebett (sofern sie nicht über 1,75 m groß sind :), am liebsten lümmel ich jedoch zum Lesen drin. Im Sommer bei hohen Temperaturen lege ich ein Leinentuch oder ein Strandtuch unter, da der Sack ja nicht atmet und man leicht drauf schwitzt. Kleiner Nachteil, aber zu verschmerzen. In jedem Fall mega bequem, weil er sich jeder Körprform optimal anpasst. Preislich natürlich nicht günstig, aber ist eben das Original. Kenne von Freunden auch Nachahmerprodukte, doch die haben mich in der Qualität nie überzeugt, da das Füllmaterial beim fatboy einfach langlebiger ist.1 Sternchen Abzug für hohen Preis und leichten Schwitzfaktor

Also als erstes muss ich hier mal ein Dank an sitzclub.de schreiben.Wir hatten zuvor versehentlich das Outdoor-Jacket für den Fatboy bestellt. Was natürlich ohne Inhalt ist da es ja nur ein Überzug für draußen ist. Ich Habenseite Rücksendeanfrage gestellt (25.12.2013) und habe zwei Tage später einen sehr freundlichen Telefonanruf erhalten. Man hätte meine Anfrage erhalten und wollte mir vorschlagen mir das Innenleben zu senden, damit wir nicht zur POST müssen etc. Im Gespräch viel der Mitarbeitern aber auf, dass ich bereits am 26.12.2013 hier einen original FATBOY bestellt hatte. Sie fragte nach meiner Mail Adresse und sendete mir noch während des Gesprächs die Rücksendemarke. Als der Fatboy geliefert wurde konnte ich das mit rücksendeschein versehene Paket direkt an den DHL Boten übergeben und fertig.SUPER SERVICE!!!Nun war auch endlich der richtige FATBOY da. Was soll ich sagen ein wahrhaft tolles Produkt. Sehr gut verarbeitet dreifache Nähte, robust, toll,groß und gemütlich!Würde ich immer wieder bestellen. hätte ich mehr Platz würden mehrere Fatboys meine Couch ersetzen!!!Danke SITZCLUB!!!

Wir haben seit kurzem den Sack im Einsatz. Tolles Teil. Wir sind zufrieden.Eine paar generelle Dinge vorab:In unseren Augen dient der Sack nicht als Sofa-Ersatz. Er steht/liegt bei uns im Wohnzimmer das relativ geräumig ist. Dadurch kommt er gut zur Geltung. Wir liegen darauf rum um unserem Kleinen (1 Jahr) beim spielen zuzusehen.Der Kleine hat auch seinen Spaß auf den Sack zu krabbeln und darauf rumzutoben.Das Teil kommt auch gut bei Besuch (vor allem mit Kindern) gut an.Für längere Fernsehabende bevorzugen wir dann doch das Sofa.Zum Fatboy selber: Das Teil ist super verarbeitet, die Hülle in meinen Augen nicht kaputt zu kriegen. Die Hülle ist recht fest und glatt (Ähnlich wie eine Zeltplane oder ein Segel) und leicht abwischbar. Wenn man sich reinsetzt finde ich die Oberfläche aber nicht unbequem. Die Füllung ist für den Moment ausreichend und kann bei Bedarf nachgefüllt werden. Hierzu gitb es an der Stirnseite einen stabilen Reisverschluss + Klettverschluss. Der Fatboy hält die Form recht gut wenn man mal drinliegt.Im Endeffekt ist das Teil Geschacksache. Durch die Stabilität und Langlebigkeit des Produkts ist ein Mehrpreis zu den günstigeren Produkten gerechtfertigt. Ob der Sack 180 Euro wert ist muss jeder selber eintscheiden.Wir bereuen den Kauf jedenfalls nicht und können den Fatboy weiterempfehlen.

Ordered 4 for gaming. Firstly. These are absolutely HUGE so prepare for that. Secondly. The cover material and construction Is tough and impeccably finished. I loved a lot about these chairs. However I was expecting a comfortable sink In Feeling. Instead they feel like concrete. No give. Returning. unfortunately.
