The Hummus Cookbook: 100 Delicious Hummus Recipes

I'm sad to see so many complaining reviews of this delightful little cookbook. No, it doesn't have the highest production value I've ever seen. But all hummus looks pretty much the same, so I don't mind the lack of photos, because there's 100 hummus recipes in here for a very affordable price! I've made a lot of hummus and there's so many combos I had never thought of in here. A gem of a cookbook!

Personally I think Hummus is delicious and having 100 different Hummus recipes to try is awesome. I liked how this book has a big list of different recipes so you have a lot of variety to try. It gives very clear and easy to follow instructions and I enjoyed how the author provided information on the amount of calories in the recipes, good for readers that are watching their calories. Great cookbook for Hummus lovers and can be a tasty snack if you are having a party!

There is a great variety of ideas for different hummus. Overall most of the recipes work quite well. Many need a bit more salt. Once you use a few of these you can develop you own base recipe and try some of your own ideas. Do not stray from the basic overall recipe and increase one item and expect great hummus the first time.

I like this book, and there are a lot of interesting recipes - especially for someone new to this dish. I wish there were more pictures showing how you could dress up the dish. But definitely a decent hummus recipe book.

Gave this to my mom for a gift and she absolutely loves this book! It's very simple (no pictures) but many great recipes. I've been lucky enough to try different types of hummus because of it.

Awesome cookbook not only containing various, delicious recipes for hummus -- our family's ultimate dip fave -- but this book also contains health benefit lists on this popular dip.I think a lot of you will enjoy and learn reading from this one.

No, it doesn't have the highest production value I've ever seen for a cookbook; but let's be all hummus looks pretty much the same, there isn't much variety in hummus, so the lack of photos isn't an issue. There's 100 hummus recipes in here for a very affordable price and I managed to pick it up for free on HOTUKDEALS this was for the ebook/kindle version. This book definitely benefits (so I've read from other reviews) from being an ebook, so I definitely recommend getting that version instead

I downloaded this when it was on offer free of charge. I like hummus and I enjoy looking for new ideas.There's an informative section at the start about the origins, ingredients and potential health benefits. Chick peas, per se, are quite unappealing (in my view). Little beige bullets with a gritty and not particularly pleasant taste. But they're highly nutritious and with a low GI, they're good for controlling blood sugar and cholesterol. Mash them up and mix them with other ingredients and they're transformed. Hummus with pitta, toast or crackers is a great way to eat them.There are many recipes and quite a few interesting ideas, but the book would really benefit from something to break the text and make it more visually appealing. A few pictures would help or even breaking into different chapters rather than just page after page of recipe. Food books need to be appealing; this is potentially an excellent hummus resource, but if you're not already attracted to the stuff, it's not made to excite the palate. So for that reason, it's lost a couple of stars.

If you want Hummus recipes, then buy this book. One of the best things about this book is the quantities are in spoon, table spoons and ounces and not the American cups rubbish which need converting.

It says what's on the cover, 100 hummus recipes. Would like to see some pictures throughout the book and also it is to plain and simple format for my liking.It just felt as if it was made in Microsoft word not really much thought put into design

Brilliant product and arrived on time
