Orgain Organic Vegan 30g High Protein Powder, Vanilla, 2.01 lb

I was very excited to try this protein powder because the ingredients looked much cleaner than many other options I have seen, and I really appreciate that it provides 30 grams of plant protein per serving. The flavor and texture worked well for me, and I truly enjoyed having it as part of my routine. It blended nicely and made it easy to increase my protein intake without feeling overly heavy. My husband unfortunately did not do well with it. He tried it on two separate occasions, and the outcome was the same each time, so clearly it just was not a good fit for him personally. I definitely sympathized with him, but on the bright side, that meant I ended up keeping the entire container to myself — and I happily did because I really enjoyed it. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy it again for myself.

We have consumed more Orgain than most other proteins, and love the flavor and texture. Best quality we have found. I tried another brand off of Amazon, and it was gritty and had an unpleasant aftertaste. NEVER with Orgain, all ways good, filling, and never GI problems.

I suggest ignoring the negative reviews but also understanding what you are buying. If you eat super clean, you understand that most natural supplements are not going to taste like a bowl of ice cream or be silky smooth like a truffle. There is sometimes compromise to be made. That said, I am impressed with how good this powder actually is, especially blended with soy milk and a banana or other fruit. I also add almond, flax, hemp etc. and make some really delicious shakes. The powder has a very slight vegetal taste - go figure. It's also got a little texture to it, which I actually enjoy. The vanilla flavoring is very natural tasting vs. the traditional extract flavor in most powders. I am just so tired of unrecognizable ingredients, thickeners, fillers, and super high cholesterol shakes. Even the "good" brands aren't that great when you read the labels... and many are up to $60-75 for 5 lbs. So yeah, this is what I will be using for the foreseeable future.

It’s a good value for those who want a vegan, organic option that’s easy on the stomach and free from soy, dairy, and gluten. The vanilla flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, i wish it has no sure at all.

My favorite vegan protein powder! The texture is perfect for smoothies or shakes with a shaker bottle. The taste is super versatile, you can essentially make any flavor combo with this vanilla base. It doesn’t taste artificial or overly sweet, just beautifully balanced. I love that it has 30g of protein and the cost is reasonable. This definitely aids in weight loss as it keeps you pretty full until your next meal.

It wasn't until I was attempting to put some weight on my kid that I realized he has a whey intolerance that leads to bouts of Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EOE). It literally sends his eosinophils into some sort of crash out, making his saliva so thick it looks like a web made out of thin, clear taffy or whatever... it's awful how it will choke him and gag him. Thankfully his EoE isn't an issue for him unless he's had a lot (I mean A LOTTA LOT) of dairy. But add one scoop of whey protein powder and his EoE full throttle flares up. Switched to this and it's not only taken care of the issue, it told me it isn't necessarily the dairy or lactose so much as whatever differentiates whey from the rest of dairy. (In other words, thousands of dollars in tests and a multitude of specialists appointments). I like that it's made from plants - that just 'feels' like it's a healthier option and would be gentler to his body. It doesn't taste any better or any worse than even the most expensive protein powders, and when blended with a proper blender, tastes about as 'good' as FairLife ready to drink shakes - which is the one everyone raves about but is LOADED with cholesterol-filled milk. This does have more Carbs than the whey protein but he's presently 20+ pounds underweight and never snacks... I'm not sweating the carbs at this time.

Gritty same old milky after taste that lingers. I went for plant protein because I can’t stand the taste of milk and yet this tastes the same in the end. I will never buy plant protein again cause in my opinion they’re all terrible. I’ve now gone to almond protein no horrible after taste. Taste delicious just like a real milkshake.

Mixes well in my smoothies. No weird after taste and doesn't cause bloating like other protein powders
