Yes, (based on your tub of course) we have a standard tub and my wife can easily get from her chair in to the seat, turn 90 degrees, I push her in to the tub area help her swing her legs in turn 90 degrees, and close the curtin. Easy Peasy.

does the sear wobble/teeter whenyou sit or have to lean to side orfront withyour body? alot of the cheaper ones i tried that slide/rotate always did

Gacky - this is the 3rd transfer shower seat I have purchased for my mom and we both love it. It's very stable and she feels safe and secure when using it.it does not teeter/wobble. The padding is excellent and she loves how she doesn't feel like she is going to slide off the seat. I would recommend this transfer seat and an on keeping it for myself one day.

how does it work for a tub?

Will this work with a combo jetted tub and shower combination. The tub is 36 inches wide, 19 inches high and 72 inches long. The narrowest width of the entrance side is 5 inches. Also, I'm wondering if the feet are suction cups. We bought a different transfer bench that had suction cups and when my husband sat down on the end of it, it tipped forward.
