I placed this door on the bottom of the back exit door in our garage to run the natural gas and electric hookup lines to our portable generator. This works perfect for that use since I don't have outdoor hookups. Now I won't have to leave the door open and can leave it locked at night when necessary. Easy to install this high quality little door.

I bought this to seal up a large hole in the wall above my network rack. Didn’t want to drywall it up since I had a lot of wires running through the wall. The door looks good when installed and is hardly noticeable. You just need a flat bladed screwdriver to pop it open (I didn’t want a lock on mine). $40 is a bit high and would think this should be in the $20-30 range. Also, the mounting flanges aren’t very long. If you install on 5/8 drywall, you will have to angle your hardware to catch the stud. Mine also arrived slightly bent up as it wasn’t packaged very well, but I was able to straighten it with a rubber mallet

My contractor wanted hundreds to install a hatch where my plumber opened the wall to install new shutoff valves. This was cheap and easy to install and looks fine.

I got this to cover up an electrical junction box and it worked perfectly. Best value for the price and well worth it.

The media could not be loaded.  The door works, though the “right” side cabinet screw holes are almost completely occluded by the hinged door (see video) body itself. The door is riveted into the frame, so it can’t be removed to access the holes for mounting, which meant I had to put my driver in the cabinet, close the door 80% of the way and drive the screws through the factory holes, pushing past the back of the door body as they went into the wall framing.It’s in and it’ll work just fine… though how one is supposed to mount the right side of the cabinet with the door in the way is beyond me. Even if the top rivet was held in by gravity alone, it’d make more engineering sense, so the door comes off for mounting… but those rivets weren’t coming out.

Flimsey, would not stay closed, tabs broke off when I tried to make them lock. I have several access doors in my house. This is by far the poorest.

I’d you have to make any adjustments on it be very careful. It’s very brittle.

Arrived with a smashed in corner and gouges in the enameled coating. Luckily the way this will be installed minimizes how ugly that looks, but for the cost, this should have at least arrived in a package that prevents the very thin metal corners from being smashed in. Seems pretty obvious.

Size of it is ok. I do not like closing of it. Very unstable
