This dish set was amazing. It is strong, durable, a fine made product that I could actually trust with a , chic look. The price is well worth it because you pay for what you get. It is nice and thick and functional for our family event. I will love to purchase more in the future.

Been using it for about 6 months now. Mugs are a little small but other than that really nice. Looks really nice. Plates Show signs of use but it hasn't inhibited function.

I wanted to use this set for a while before I wrote a review. Two months later, of daily and frequent use, and I still love this set. PROS: It really does look chic. I honestly haven't noticed any of the "dripping" of the glaze down the sides that others have mentioned. I LOVE that the plates have an edge -- it's not something I ever considered before, but it's so helpful. I can pile the plate high and not worry about sauces, crumbs, etc coming off the side. The matte black looks beautiful, and the dishes have a proper weight to them that makes them feel expensive. I also really appreciate that the bowls are huge, and deep. AND, I know this is a no-no, but I've put them in the dishwasher daily. I live in an itty bitty NYC apartment that's lucky enough to have a dishwasher (but zero counter space) so handwashing is not going to happen. These dishes have survived with zero chips and scratches. CONS: Because of the material, they do "scrape" against each other -- as in, they make a scraping noise when bumped, or when silverware is used. It doesn't bother me particularly, but it's worth noting. (Though it seems a given considering the material?) Also, due to the lip of the plates, I need to separate them in the dishwasher by a gap to make sure they're washed thoroughly. Not a big deal, and I much prefer having the lip. All in all, I'm really pleased. These dishes make eating feel a bit more special, and well worth the $50 I spent.

Simple and basic, yet visually appealing. Thought the cup and bowl capacity would be too little, but it's just right for me. Bowl capacity was actually surprising. No chips. However, I only received 3 bowls. No soup for me, I suppose. It would have been 5 stars.

We have been using these for well over a year now and they are holding up great! Cleaned in the dishwasher regularly, no fading, no chips, and outaide of a few wear marks from utensils still in great condition. It took a while to get used to the lip around the plates, but that has nothing to do with this particular product only the fact we never had plates like these before. Coffee mugs have held up great as well. No set in smells from strong teas or coffees, hard to tell if any staining has occurred given the color of them. Highly recommend!

I love these plates! All items arrived in good quality--no chipped or broken pieces. I ordered them in yellow; they are a little more mustard-colored than yellow, but that's what I was hoping for, anyway. They are pretty heavyweight, which makes them feel like higher quality but also makes them a bit more difficult to hand-wash if you have lots of them. The cups are on the smaller side if you pour your coffee/tea by hand, but they are a perfect size if you use a Keurig. All of the items look very modern, and I'm very happy with their overall look! I haven't had any issues so far in the dishwasher, but I never use them in the microwave, as I cook most food in the oven. So, I'd defer to other reviewers. I haven't seen significant scratching on them with stainless steel utensils, though. I previously had more expensive, similar-looking plates from Pottery Barn, and these are about as good for half the price! I just want to say in advance, though: these plates are not ideal if you have children. They're not inherently dangerous at all, but they really are stoneware, which makes them heavy and can cause a weird sound if you don't wield your knife well. That's not something special about these plates, though--all stoneware is like that. All in all, would happily recommend!

A cool, modern-looking dinnerware set. There was a slight chip on one of the mugs, however, I'm still happy with my purchase.

My dinner set is great but ONE of the mugs arrived shattered to pieces. PLEASE REPLACE!
