Lumber-Seal

We remodeled in 2012 and had an issue with moisture. I used Lumber seal on the interior walls and rafters and have never had a problem since. I have used one gallon buckets over the years with great results. This is the first time I bought the five gallon bucket. I have used it my mail box posts, fence, walls. The best use was my curved outdoor railing. The railing is made from curved 1/2 strips of pressure treated from a 2x12x10. Each railing has 11 strips glued and screwed. Lumber Seal has protected it for 10 years like new. Goes on easy and lasts.

This lumber seal has been outstanding in repelling moisture and preserving the wood in our lake house. We have a block basement that would sweat and let moisture in, we remodeled and used this on the studs and haven’t noticed any moisture. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to seal lumber with a natural product that doesn’t have the chemicals other products we tried. The liquid came in a 5-gallon bucket that was perfectly packaged. We also used their Concrete Seal on the block walls and it worked great!

Mold is growing in many places where i used Lumber-Seal. Moreover, it is also fading and turning white even where exposed to mild UV exposure, and it is difficult to sand off, and it seems to not "dry out" wood as claimed.
