Injection Molded Roughneck Fiberglass with 8-Point Ratchet Suspension

Lovin this helmet in the south texas heat. This is my second Fibre metal hard hat. The first is a full brim, i've got my headlight on it for night shifts. This one is a great day shift helmet. It never feels bulky, the ratchet system works smooth, the suspension system does a great job of distributing the weight. The reason I love this brand of helmet is that they aren't as bulky and large as some.of the other brands. I crawl around in some tight spaces and the small size of the crown and lip enables me to do that without getting hung up. And I prefer my HH fairly low on my brow. The suspension system on these has plenty of adjustment room to bring it down low .

I’ve been using these for yrs now. And I change them out because of all the stickers f from Training and projects. This is one of the best hard hats out there. I have 2 for outages and turn arounds. Any buddy reading this knows what I’m talking about. They are beat up and scratched all over. I would recommend buying extra foam pad for the front. When working in hot humid sweaty weather, they tend to get smelly and only wash a couple times before they won’t go back on properly and rub your forehead. Just saying says a 31 yr industrial hand

This professional hardhat is the best choice of them all. It is flame, heat and spark resistant whereas other plastic models are not. It looks nice and is VERY comfortable to wear all day. I have become accustomed to wearing it WITHOUT the foam headband insert that pads your forehead. This padding can become sweat-soaked and un-sanitary. With THIS model you can remove that padding and where the suspension grips your forehead, it is smooth plastic. The other parts of the hardhat`s suspension are not riveted through this piece, so it doesn`t leave marks or impressions on your bare forehead. . The ratchet type suspension allows for quick and easy size adjustments when you want to wear a hoodie or add a helmet liner. I`m glad I chose this hardhat (again) and I`m sure you will be too !!! Great hard hat I like the material fits well does not sit too high and pretty good value too.

This was a gift for my father. He owns a construction company and after many trials of poorly constructed hard hats, we decided to give this fibre-metal one a chance. He loves it. He has a large, round (and bald haha) head and the ratchet suspension on this hat is perfect for him. The suspension does not cut into his head at all and he can wear it for prolonged periods with no discomfort. He does wish it would have some sort of ventilation as his head tend to sweat more than usual using it. But wouldnt have any hesitation recommending this to guys in the field.

All time favorite hard hats, nice head gear and compact for the rating.

Nice Hardhat. Matte finish. I've been wearing Fibre-Metal hardhats for over 30 years and it remains my favorite. Lowest profile and lightest hardhat I've found. Comfortable suspension, quality build. Some people have questioned whether this is plastic or actually fiberglass. I've always had a gloss plastic hardhat, the latest has HDPE stamped inside it. This hardhat does NOT have HDPE stamped inside, and it is definitely MUCH stiffer material than the HDPE. My plastic hardhats gouged pretty easily rattling around in my pickup or falling off the scaffold (hard hat, not me!) so I'm interested to see how this holds up to abuse.

The only one that truly fits. Il n’y a pas d’attaches pour la visière sur ce modèle mais ça reste un incroyable casque confortable qui tient trop bien. Je l’adore. De tous les casques , c’est celui à acheter. 53$cad en janvier 2025.

I love this style of hat everything is as described The only thing I don’t like about this hat is that it sits higher up on my head then other hardhats other than that, it’s great
