The best things about this set is that it looks good, fits well, and I can remove dishes from the oven with it.You can feel some pretty noticeable heat through the mitts, though it's not unbearable. This may have to do with the heat conductivity of the dish in the oven- metal vs oven-safe pyrex (glass). (metal-no complaints, I can feel some minimal heat because the dish is hot, but oven-safe pyrex glass- cannot be held too long) Also, either I was wrong in how I washed and dried it, or it came defective and I didn't realize it, but one of the gloves has small pieces of the inner fabric (or fluff) that comes out when I remove my hand after use. I first noticed the fluff, after drying so that could be my fault. The other glove is perfectly fine.I couldn't say how long the average set it supposed to last, but so far I use these frequently, and I have no intention of returning them.

Great value. I have my kitchen decorated in a dark green and use these oven mitts to get the food in and out of my oven. The other oven mitts that I have in my kitchen are just for decoration. I recently lost the pot holder to my dark green oven mitt set and had to buy a new one. This is the best deal that I have seen in any store including Amazon that I have ever seen. This is a must buy product in any color that you choose. I have definitely been in the market for oven mitts in the past frequently. Since I am forever changing the Decour in my kitchen. Again 100% this is the best oven mitt pot holder deal I have ever ever ever seen. This is a must must buy in any color that you choose

These oven mittens are well made with excellent aligned stitch work. The two different shapes allow for versatility in using them for different pots or skillets. The fabric inside is soft and not bulky, along with the silicon on the outside allows better grip. Would highly recommend this.

I gave this oven Mitt set only 3 stars because I just received them today and haven't had a chance to cook with them. The 3 stars were for quality of material upon sight, attractiveness and thickness of both mitts and square potholders. The mitts are small enough for my slim hands to fit and not fall off but stretch wide and large enough for my 'family proclaimed chef' son to use (who has large basketball palming hands). Once we use them while cooking, I will update my review.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My favorite part of that gloves and pads are the little silicone rubber diamonds on them. These help you grip hot baking trays and also keep the pads from moving on the counter. The gloves are thicker than the pads are and are intended for handing hotter items. I livye that the glove length goes beyond my wrist and part way up my arm. I have burned my arm on a rack from trying to grab a baking sheet from a middle rack. We got a brand new double oven so I decided to but a brand new set of oven mitts. This set is awesome.

Why put up with an oven mitt that's seen years worth of sauces and cooking oils? Why live your life that way when for the low price of (I don't remember how much they were) you too can handle your hot oven food with TWO hands featuring their silicone patches which takes the trouble out of slippery cooking dishes. Oh, I could go on and on about the quality and value of my new Oven Mitts and Pads! Oh joyous day it was when these arrived.

I wish I had these a long time ago. These absolutely resist the ovens heat-period. They stay clean and are very attractive for hanging as decor.

I have almost burnt the crotch of my hand a couple times while using these. I woukd say they are poorly designed and the silicone is just window dressing.I recommend a hard pass. Buy a better product. Saving a few bucks isn't worth burning yourself. A towel works better.
