I was very skeptical at first, but this unit does work well. The sensitivity is there and it's constantly updating. Temperature accuracy is very good. When its stand is deployed, it has a very easy-to-read screen. There's no backlight, which is probably not needed and would just drain the batteries. The selling point for me was the Bluetooth functionality. I downloaded the Govee Home app (iPhone) and actually worked upon first run. It does try to get you to register for additional features, but it allows you to skip and just access the device data. Once the device connected, it showed the data in a easy-to-read graph with different charts for hours, day, week, etc. You can do this for temp, humidity, dew point and the averages. The overall unit is small and discrete. It's very lightweight. It does have a simple screw/nail mount hole in the top back center, but its built-in stand works great. For accurate readings, it'll have to be kept in a spot that is away from anything that could easily affect its sensor. Very neat unit.

Great device that works like a charm. I bought one, and this is my second one for another room. Extremely helpful and accurate. The battery life is long, since I haven’t changed a battery on my first one yet, and it is been like 9 months already.

This hygrometer works well overall and does exactly what it is supposed to. The readings seem accurate and the Bluetooth connection makes it easy to check temperature and humidity from your phone. The app is simple to use and gives a clear view of trends over time, which is really helpful. Setup was quick and straightforward. Only reason for four stars is the Bluetooth range can be a bit limited depending on where you place it, but otherwise it is a solid device.

I ordered yet another Govee product and I'm not disappointed. 🥳 I love this brand. The products I have purchased work well and are very competitively priced. This thermometer is small enough to fit in a small RV kitchen and the display is easy to read, even from a fair distance. I purchased this thermometer because my other Govee thermometers are little pods which don't have a display. With this thermometer I can quickly scan the RV temperature and humidity levels without having to open the Govee app. I have placed the other thermometers/ hydrometers at various key points in my RV where I won't see them, so the display isn't needed. As several reviewers have stated, the hydrometer display was off when compared to other Govee products in my RV, as well as my dehumidifier readings. BUT, as with other Govee products, you can calibrate both the temperature and humidity readings. Now all my gadgets match and are working well together. Thanks, Govee! 😁

This was recommended to me by a fellow bearded dragon owner. I have been using a hygrometer and thermometer that failed to give me an accurate reading and thought the tank wasn't within the range. I lost my second one due to humidity issues, and I didn't realize it. Now, with a new girl, I don't want to lose her to humidity issues. I purchased this and received it yesterday and I'm impressed how accurate it was right off the bat after sitting in the tank all day. I would recommend this hygrometer and thermometer because it tells me all I need to know. I love that it shows me the temperature on the cool side. I always wanted to know if it was just right. I thought the hydrometer was big but it's the right size for the tank. Functions well. Humidity level is at 37% and that's what is needed for a desert environment.

I now own 5 of these! I absolutely love them and love the app! My first one took about a year and half to need to replace the batteries and always has read accurately! What I am even more impressed with is how remarkable their customer service is! One of my thermometers was having issues, the screen wasn’t visible and it was draining the batteries every 10 days. Which I know is weird because I had 3 others. I could t figure out how to contact them on Amazon but on the Govee app was able to. I had a response within the hour that a new replacement was on the way. It has already arrived. So responsive and nice! Couldn’t ask for a more durable and accurate thermometer needless to say better customer service!

Setup was stupid easy. Downloaded the app, connected via Bluetooth in under a minute, and it was ready to go. No complicated steps, no frustration. Accuracy has been solid. The readings stay consistent, and I like that I can actually trust what I’m seeing—especially important when you’re dialing in conditions for pets or a specific room setup. The app is where this thing shines. Being able to check temp and humidity right from my phone without hovering over the enclosure is a huge win. The historical data tracking is clutch too—you can literally see trends over time instead of guessing what’s going on. Size is perfect. It’s compact and doesn’t take over your setup, but the display is still easy to read if you’re looking at it directly. If I had to nitpick, Bluetooth range isn’t unlimited—you do need to be within a reasonable distance. But that’s expected, and it hasn’t been a dealbreaker at all. Bottom line: If you need reliable, no-BS monitoring for temperature and humidity, this gets the job done and then some. Super affordable, super useful, and absolutely worth having.

This hygrometer works really well and the app connection has been useful for checking temperature and humidity easily. The readings seem accurate and setup was simple. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t have an off button, so if you want to turn it off you have to remove the battery. Aside from that, it’s been working great.

Me parece que el producto es bueno, no sé que tan fidedignas sean las mediciones, sin embargo es fácil de instalar y de obtener la información por Bluetooth. Sin duda lo recomiendo si requieres monitorear la temperatura de un lugar. Excelente atención de parte de Tienda Roja.

I received the device in a sealed box and good condition. The Govee Home app helps me calibrate the Hygrometer, check the battery status and keep track of past readings. I will purchase it again if I need one. If you think that the sensor reading is not accurate, you need to calibrate it. ADD: After using it, I bought a 2nd time for my bedroom. The one on the right has been calibrated when I first using it. The one on the left was the one I just received and without any calibration. As you can see, the readings on both devices is almost indentical.
