I've been using these for a few years now, previously feeding every two weeks by hand, mixing powder in a gallon of water per plant. A real chore and very tiring. I have 30 plants this year so these Jobe's Tomato Spikes save me a lot of energy and time. I put them in at planting time them again mid July. No blossom end rot or calcium or magnesium deficiency. The tomatoes are healthy, the workload minimal. I do also use compost and manure early spring to amend the soil but I've never had a problem since I started using these spikes. My only issue is the expense, but then again they are delivered free next day to my door. Can't complain. Recommended.

i have had these before and found they were both con veneient and effective. i removed a star thiugh because a coule were broken and when i opened the bubble package they came in there were bots and dust from the broken ones loose, and on opening the actual package it was the same
