This antenna is actually awesome. Comes with its own prebuilt firmware that includes security and anti-spyware. Saved my internet. Went from 10mbs, to 168mbs immediately. Highly recommend.

I purchased these because one of my other antennas broke off. These antennae were way better constructed than the original ones, which I learned were big but mostly just plastic made to look big and cool once I took them apart. These, on the other hand, are small and solid-state. I immediately increased my signal reception and will be replacing all of our existing antennas with these units.

I bought this pair of dual band antennas because the built-in WiFi card on my new desktop was pretty weak, and they’ve been doing the job nicely. Installation couldn’t be easier—just screw them onto the RP-SMA connectors and that’s it. No need for extra drivers or software like some external adapters require. As soon as I put them on, the signal improved right away. They cover both 2.4GHz and 5GHz/5.8GHz bands, so I get steady coverage whether I’m going for range or speed. Since these are 3dBi antennas, the gain is modest—it’s not going to magically push WiFi through thick walls. In my setup, the desktop sits under a desk with the back facing a wall, while the router is out in the living room on the opposite side. The distance isn’t small, and while I do notice a bit of lag when gaming, normal browsing and streaming work just fine. For my needs, that’s enough. If you’re farther away and want a stronger signal, you might look into one of those USB WiFi adapters with external antennas that sit on your desk instead of directly on the PC. But for me, I prefer the cleaner look without adding more clutter, and these antennas get the job done.

Have had these for over a year and they’ve been working great. My desktop couldn’t get WiFi signal even when the router was in the same room. This amplified the range perfectly and now I get full speeds with router multiple rooms away. Easy to use - literally just screw them on there. No extra downloads needed. Very happy with my purchase.
