I used it to clean thinset out of 1/8" grout lines. It worked great.

I got this to remove some bathroom tiles. I bought this instead of an electric tool to save money. I regret that. It is very laborious and tedious to cut the grout. I was hoping this would cut through faster than it did. But it takes a lot of force and much sawing action to cut through the grout. But the flip side is, at least you'll get some exercise! I just ordered an electric cutter and given this is reasonably priced, I'll keep it for backup. :o)

Works well, durable

I needed this to remove the grout between our tub and tile wall. After about an hour of elbow grease (I’m a guy and I’m not weak) I’d only gotten about 1/3 finished with all I needed to do. I ended up biting the bullet and buying an oscillating multitool with a grout removing bit. This hand tool could work well if you had a small section to remove, but you’re better off buying something else if you’ve got a bigger job.

I used this tool to remove about 15 feet of old grout along my kitchen counter. It did great. You have to be careful not to scratch the countertop or backsplash because it will definitely leave a mark. I only used one blade and it's still going good.
