Very Helpful and Secure Product
I purchased this product to help get my 60 pound chow in and out of the house for bathroom breaks as he recovers from ACL surgery. I purchased size large. It easily wraps fully around his abdomen and secures snugly with the velcro. The straps are a perfect length to help him without having to bend at an awkward angle or strain myself trying to support his weight. Straps feel very secure and product is overall durable, I have never once felt like the straps could break or anything like that. I was a little concerned since he's a male dog that the sling might not be comfortable for him given where it wraps around but he has given no indication that it bothers him. When I went to the animal hospital to pick him up for post op, they actually had a sling ready to give me to take home (I did not know they would provide one prior to the surgery) and I declined it in lieu of this one. The vet tech actually said she liked the look of this one better since it secures with the velcro, instead of just a standard sling shape. Plus the convenience of being able to roll it up for easy storage is nice. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered this product for my elderly dog that is 16 years old and has arthritis on her hind legs. I live on a third floor and she has a hard time, specially, going upstairs. She is 55 lbs so carrying her up and down the stairs is not an option for me.I paid a little extra to get the product in 2 days and I received it on time. I have been using the harness for the last 2 weeks and it has been very helpful. You have to be careful not to place it too much toward her back as I did the first couple of times because it would bunch up and won't work correctly. The harness needs to be placed more on the center of the body to work properly. I know she appreciates the help I can give her with the harness.

Good Construction, Reasonable Price
In the past, for an injured dog, we used a harness which wrapped around the hind legs and belly. Last week our greyhound lost the ability to use her hind legs. The only harness we could find that could ship for overnight delivery, was this harness. With great sadness, we did not have an opportunity to use this harness as our greyhound died the next morning before the harness arrived. I thought about returning it, but decided to keep it in case we need a harness one day for one of our other dogs. The harness looks like it is well constructed and would have been a great help in getting her inside, out and moved as needed. We appreciate the quick response and shipping, and the reasonable price. We only wish we had an opportunity to give it a try.

Also she won't walk in it even though it seems comfortable. It is easy to use
This harness really helps me lift my 50 pound dog into the car without hurting my.back. So much easier than trying to lift her! I haven't learned how to use it to get her out of the car. It slips down her hips. Also she won't walk in it even though it seems comfortable. It is easy to use, just Velcro it on and go.serves its purpose for me.

There are better harnesses/slings out there, for sure.
Hate is a strong word, but this harness was horrible! I would return it, but since we didn't have any other option at the time, it's been used and has dog fur on it (we have since found an AMAZING harness here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GPYFA50/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0which was pricey, but, really, considering we spent $30 on this one...This thing was flimsy, cheaply made, slid all over the place on out senior male dog and was just awful to use when we needed to bring him out to do his business. It bunched up every time we used it, slid up, slid down. Just disappointing and annoying. This was purchased because he has arthritis in both rear legs as well as hip dysplasia. He needs a boost to get up to stand, then to do his business. Walking is okay, but we hold the handles loosely, just in case. The handles aren't adjustable, which we knew, but didn't realize how not user friendly they would be. The velcro to close the harness was worked, but almost too well, because when the harness started to slip and move on him, and he started to go down, it was difficult to undo the velcro to readjust it. We don't recommend this product at all.

This is a great thing. My 10 year old GSD is having some problems with her back legs. It's getting really hard for her to get around, much less up and down the few stairs we have to get outside. This is not a good mix when you're 4'11 and the dog is 80lbs. This makes it so easy for me to help her get up and down the stairs! I am so thankful. I barely have to use any force at all. I believe a lot of it is her feeling like she has some extra support. It's a little small on her, but that's my fault for not measuring. It works just the same. So grateful for this product!

Not worth the money.
Poorly made, lifts my dog but way to small and she is only 62 pounds so the item was very misleading. It does not wrap around her chest tummy area and has to go back way far to her back end. Had nothing about size other then what it said so just very misleading. Not worth the money but stuck with it so getting her something better.

Good product
My dog is approximately 50 pounds and ruptured her cruciate ligament in her back left leg. I needed to get her a harness because I live on the 3rd floor and getting up and down the stairs is a nightmare. I read the reviews and compared this harness to others and I'm happy with this choice. It is a quality made product and feels sturdy when using it on my dog. The downside is the common complaint of the harness bunching or sliding towards the dog's stomach/abdomen area. I would definitely recommend this to other pet owners. Also, if your dog is a heavy shedder year round like mine, the dog hair definitely sticks to the inside of the harness.
