YAY
I haven't had whey protein powder in YEARS due to an allergy so I can't say how it stacks up to that. However, I can say it tastes pretty darn good for a vegan protein powder. Is it a bit gritty? Yes. Does it have any aftertaste? Honestly, barely at all! Is it dairy free so allergy friendly for me? YES! Overall, I can eat it and it taste good and doesn't make me feel nauseous because of how gross it is (I'm looking at you owyn...). In my opinion this is a huge win, it technically tastes better than my previous orgain fruity cereal in terms of its less gross but I also think it doesn't taste as good because its really bland and not sweet, which all things considered could actually be a great thing and I will definitely use this in ice cream and maybe baked goods going forward. TLDR: Surprisingly good but also quite bland.

Great taste
I was uncertain after reading some of the reviews but I really enjoy this protein (Cinnabon flavor). I enjoyed it mixed with almond milk alone, and with a frozen banana and almond milk (I also plan to try with pumpkin puree as another reviewer mentioned, once I go to the store). Not gritty and mixes well, smells good too. Tastes kind of like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. A bit expensive compared to other plant based protein options (Rule 1 is my regular/favorite other brand), so I’ll likely use something else in my daily smoothies and enjoy this more as a treat. I may try some other flavors in future but reviews seem to be widely mixed which makes me somewhat nervous with the price point - I wish there was a sampler pack to test the flavors.

Sickeningly Sweet Sucralose
Sickeningly Sweet Sucralose. The amount of Sucralose (Splenda) in this is disgusting. Not only does it taste sickeningly sweet, sucralose disrupts the gut microbiome and causes inflammation and potential metabolic issues (diabetes and weight gain), which is counterproductive to the reason why most people want to add protein in their diet. I struggle to understand why "health" foods have to use fake sweeteners such as Sucralose (Splenda) to make products so intolerably sweet. I wish I would have known and I wish I could return this. And I wish they could make it without the sucralose or any other artificial or hyper-sweetener. But until then, I will never buy this again.

Tasty protein powder
Tasty protein powder, even since it's vegan. The flavor options are limited so I can really only use as a protein shake. I'm not able to mix into many recipes. I've tried the Banana Pancake and Cinnabon flavors and both are tasty. The powder does leave a mess after using as it's a different texture as whey protein so just something to be mindful of. It does leave me feeling full afterwards, which is also not something I experience with other protein powders.

Good
Very sweet, but blends well with oatmeal.

Good flavors, but off-putting texture.
I have loved what ghost brings to the table for the most part. I love a lot of their electrolyte beverages, and the variety that comes with those. I enjoy the fact that you can find pretty much anything ghost brand that tastes delicious. However, the protein in this is very high but that comes with a caveat. The texture of this is very gritty. Also, there is a little bit of a rancid aftertaste which kind of threw me off. I added some cloves to this just a few sprinkles of that and it kind of masked that weird rancid kind of flavor. I have never had something from ghosts that I didn't like except maybe this? I don't hate it, but I don't necessarily like it. I'll be able to drink the rest of it, but I don't think I would purchase it again. This is kind of sad but it is what it is. It doesn't take too long to get mixed up, and the price was reasonable, but I think overall quality was so so. I just shaker bottle to get this mixed up and for the most part it mixed in just fine. I have found that sticking with milk alternatives it loses a little bit of that gritty texture, but if you're in this mostly for the protein, mixing it with fairlife milk or something like that generally increases the protein.

Good flavor
I usually buy Optimum nutrition plant protein in chocolate but wanted a different flavor protein and cinnamon sounded good. It is pretty good flavor wise but it’s overwhelmingly sweet. I see it has a sucralose in it, it must have a decent amount because it is extremely sweet. If you want something that tastes sweeter than a piece of cake this might be a good choice for you, but it’s just too much for me. It seems to mix better than the optimum nutrition powder I usually buy though. Edit: I found a good ratio of water to protein powder and it’s actually pretty good after finding the right ratio. I’ve been using 16.9oz to 1 scoop and that really brings the sweetness to a reasonable level. I increased the rating as it seems to just be a learning curve with the new protein powder.

Smells great! Tastes blah!
For the last couple of years I have used No Cow chocolate protein and loved it. Unfortunately, they discontinued their powders. I found Ghost vegan protein powder through a basic Google search. I was excited to try the chocolate cereal milk flavor. When I opened it, it smelled so good! It reminded me of Cocoa Puffs. I put it in my blender with 8oz of almond milk, some jaavy coffee, and a few ice cubes (like I do with no cow). After it was blended, I tried it. It did not taste great! I’ll try it again tomorrow with some ovaltine and zero sugar low cal chocolate syrup to see if I can boost the flavor. It’s not even your typical vegan protein powder after taste. It tastes nasty all the way through. I can’t really explain what it tastes like but not chocolate cereal milk flavor. I’ll update if I can make it taste better. I do want this protein to work for me!
