This little book is packed with many terrific accomplishments and unique facts highlighting a terrific and unique city. A must-read for anyone who wants to learn about the historical contributions of a mighty beautiful and impressive place!

First, the book is only opinion with nothing to back it up. Very repetitive. I love Pittsburgh, too, but I don't need to keep repeating the premise without backup data to support that opinion. So content is weak. The formatting and layout of the book are not professional - very amateurish offering. Wish I could give it a better review because I really had high hopes for this book based on the description.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! What a great idea! It is fun to read and has lots of interesting facts.

Not much of a book. Not much in the way of content, more like a commercial from the chamber of commerce. It was however, cheap. I think it was self published.

Very well written book, with tons of information. The author does a nice job of listing his reasons for why he feels the city is the best in the world while constantly stating it is just his opinion, leaving room open for other people experiences. The only drawback from the book are some missed things the editor should have seen. Such as a broken hyperlink was left in the book and the font changing in mid sentence. All in all a very enjoyable book!

A great book about a great city! This book covers a lot of ground, including info that will take you off the beaten path if you're looking to explore. Recently moved to Pittsburgh? Read this book and take a look at some things that you haven't seen before.I'm impressed at how extensive this book is and how much interesting information is included. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great read! Accurate and entertaining. I Also gave a copy as a gift after reading it, and it was well received and appreciated by a former Pittsburgh resident.

Many books seek to place their cities above others with petty comparisons based on sports and machismo. This is not one of those books. After reading this book, it is apparent the author has gone to great lengths to research some of the most interesting and unique information about our fair city. The breadth of topics covered alone makes it superior to any other book of its kind that I have read. The tone of the book is also refreshing, as it submits the innumerable marvelous facts about Pittsburgh's culture, history, industry, etc... for your consideration, rather than attempting to force you to agree with the book's title. The result is an outstanding read that leaves the reader, both Pittsburgh natives and those who have yet to visit, no other choice than to agree with the title.
