BESTOOL Detangling Brush, Detangler Brush for Natural Black/ Curly Hair Afro 3/4abc Texture, Faster n Easier Detangle Wet or Dry Hair with No Pain (Black)

The brush arrived early this morning, just in time to wash & brush my daughter's hair. I tried it both with and without the little bar. I think I prefer it without it. It was so much easier & less of a chore to get the knots out! My daughter didn't flinch, complain, or grab her hair at the roots like she has in the past. Afterwards, she said "That didn't really hurt like before!" It was still a workout for me, but nowhere near as bad as it's been with other brushes. GET THIS BRUSH! My daughter has beautiful, long, thick, curly hair. I'm still brushing it for her, and we've tried combs, various brushes, including Knot Genie & Wet brushes - none worked & all caused pain. It's always been an incredible workout for me to brus her hair, & we only ever did it after washing her hair & while it was still wet. I use Cantu Curls shampoo & conditioner on her, as well as the leave in conditioner spray that also serves as a detangler. Regardless, she gets terrible tangles & at times mats in her hair - especially where her CPAP tube sits on the top of her head. I found it easier to do somewhat small sections at a time. I started at the bottom and worked my way up to her roots. I did try to use it vertically at first, but due to the length of her hair, that didn't really work for me. I used Cantu Curls leave in conditioner spray as I went along, and after completing the sections, I then went back and brushed her entire head. The plastic bristles made it all the way through to her scalp, which is almost unheard of. My daughter has suffered with dandruff in one part of her scalp, & bristles from other brushes couldn't reach it. This one got rid of the flakes! I suspect that as we use it more, it will get easier for both of us, but she liked the brush & didn't complain once. Hopefully, she'll soon move toward brushing her hair herself now that we found this incredibly brush.

This brush is amazing! Works well for curly and wavy hair. Best when hair is wet or at least damp. Great for detangling hair. Easy to clean since each row of bristles is separate. Strong and sturdy brush. Will be purchasing more for my curly-headed family members and friends.

this brush is so a great detangler. I have 3A/B hair and it goes through my hair so well, does not tear through my hair. Love this brush.

Works pretty well, but takes a little practice for very curly hair

Soft bristles the don’t pull your hair. Made untangling my hair very easy. Has a great grip and made out of durable material. Loved the color purple and just the right size.

At first I was a little skeptical about this brush being a detangler brush. I thought it was going to work like any other regular brush, but this brush surprised me! I washed my hair, put the conditioner in my hair, took the brush, and it went through my hair quick and easy with no problems leaving my hair tangled free. I definitely recommend this brush.

It's very flimsy. I don't think it will work for someone with really 4c thick long hair.

Easy on the hair and great for styling after

This is just the coolest brush. I use it on my dogs too now so I bought two of them. It detangler them. They don’t mind the bristles because they’re not sharp and they’re actually kind of contour so that it’s easier to get them tidied up anybody who’s looking for people with long hair who might get it tangled at and when an easy brush through… It would work for that most certainly I think that’s what it was made for but I use it for myself and then I have a special one the same one but just a different colour for my dogs and they love it. I think they think they’re getting scratches on their back and stuff. I’ll definitely be buying it again as gifts for my friends at Christmas time for their furbabies!

This is my second brush from this brand, and once again I’m very happy with the quality. My hair is 4A and can sometimes be hard to brush, but this brush works through it really well. It feels comfortable to hold, the bristles are gentle, and it helps detangle my hair with no pain. It leaves my hair tangle-free and makes brushing much easier. The quality is excellent, especially for the price. I would definitely recommend it and would buy again.

It toke me a while to find the original Bestool brush among many face imitations, I actually bought the fake ones twice and there’s a big difference. Fake ones are made of more stiff plastic than this one , which makes detangling a living hell of a process. But the original Bestool is real game changer for detangling my thick coarse C3 hair after I tried everything else out there. It’s plastic is softer so it goes back and forth through each knot in your hair, you meed patience and keep repeating if the situation is bad, but it’s not as painful as other options out there. Also the thick long bristles will work better for thick hair than Wet Bruch and Tangle Teaser, cutting time by half.
