The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale. What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.

I really like this measuring tape. It's easy to use, feels well made, and works great with the app for tracking body measurements. The only downside is that I didn't have a screwdriver small enough to remove the battery cover and install the battery. It would be nice if they included the right screwdriver or made the cover easier to open. Other than that, it's a great product and I'd definitely recommend it.

The concept is a great idea, the tape notch does not connect well at all. The snapping in and out is tricky more then I want to mess with. Also if you stop in the middle of your measurements it will wipe out what you logged prior and starts over. When you say for example measure your chest then go down to calf the constant hooking and hooking the notch on the tape is frustrating. The design could have been much better. tossing aside and will use my manual tape.

This measuring tape did not meet my expectations. When measuring my neck, the app’s scaling appeared to be completely inaccurate. For a neck that measures approximately 17–18 inches, the app was reporting measurements as small as 1–3 inches. Another issue was data retention. After completing and saving all of my measurements, the app confirmed that the information had been saved and asked if I wanted to continue measuring. However, when I later checked the app history, none of my measurements were there. I will give credit where it’s due: the product earns a Gold Star for the well thought out tape end locking mechanism, it’s an excellent design concept for taking measurements by yourself! I had been considering purchasing the Renpho smart scale, but this experience has made me hesitant to invest $200+ in another product from the same ecosystem. My concern is that I could run into similar software issues after the return period has expired. I’m glad this product has worked well for others, but unfortunately, it did not work reliably for me.
