Doesn’t lock
When I read the description, “Edlund tongs kitchen commercial salad tongs gravity tongs 9 inch heavy duty stainless steel”, I assumed that gravity tongs meant that the utensil locked with gravity. I bought one pair of tongs that seemed to have malfunctioned, so I bought another pair to replace it. The second pair didn’t lock with gravity either. Very disappointing. It is too late to get a refund on the first pair.

Non-locking tongs with a big mouth
They seem like decent tongs, but they don’t have a lock. I searched for gravity-lock tongs and they came up. Not sure why they have “gravity” in their name.My fault for buying the wrong thing.

Gravity tongs don't lock
The description says they are gravity tongs. This implies that they lock. They don't. It says they are 4409 HDL tongs. The L stands for locking. 4409 HD tongs are the non locking version.
