Doesn't hold the heat as much as I was expecting it to but the food was warm and not too cold by lunch time (said my son)

Perfect size for traveling with. Holds a hearty portion and keeps it hot. Haven't tried anything cold yet. The extra compartment on top is way handy for crackers or whatever dry add-ins you like. The utensils are cute but I carry my own in a travel set which also has chopsticks 🥢😁

I found the Bentgo leak-resistant bowl to be such a great deal with such high utility for both hot and cold food on the go that I bought a second one within a few weeks of the first one. The Bentgo bowl has two sealable lids, an inner lid with a pressure release, and an outer screw lid with a tight seal. The hot foods stay hot, and the cold foods stay cold. I typically use the Bentgo bowl for salads and casserole dishes. The outer lid has a compartment that houses a collapsable fork and spoon, so you'll always have eating utensils. I will frequently use the outer compartment for smaller snacks, some bread, or a few cut vegetables that I want to stay cooler when I'm carrying a hot meal in the main compartment. I mainly use my Bentgo bowls for lunch at the office, but it travels well anywhere ... the park or a long drive. If you do it right, it will save you lots of money on eating out, and it might help you stay on that diet by bringing your healthy food with you when you need to eat well and reducing food temptations that can be challenging.

I ordered two of these for my lunches. The size is good and they do retain temperatures well, but they are difficult to open and close with old, arthritic hands. The utensils are adorable, but fairly useless.

This bowl is really cute and comes in nice colors. The description of keeping foods warm for hours was promising. I needed a new set of breakfast and lunch containers so I gave Bentgo a try. Here is what I discovered: 1. Nowhere in the description does it mention microwave safe. I read the questions asked by consumers and there was one that said they microwave it and have not had a problem. I was worried there might be some metal in the insulation so I emailed the company and their response was No, it should definitely not be microwaved. Its designed to keep foods warm only. This is understandable and in no way was it false advertising, but I wish there had been a mention of this on the website before I bought it. 2. The seal is ineffective. I put cold stew in with the intent to warm it at work in a safe bowl, however the seal on the inner lid did not keep liquids in. I had about 1/4 cup of soup in the bottom of my lunch container when I got to work. On another occasion I put warm oatmeal in the bowl with the intent to eat it at work for breakfast. On the way I heard a pop from my bag. An hour later when I had time to get to my oatmeal I noticed the inner lid was what had popped. My oatmeal was no longer warm as the seal had released. The steam valve had been closed. I tried it one more time with the steam valve open, but that only ended up unscrewing the top on its own. Then another pop when the inner lid unsealed itself. This was oatmeal so it wasn't especially hot when I put it in. 3. The cute design is actually a flaw (for me at least). The super smooth plastic, especially if my hands are cold (they normally are), make it difficult to grip the bowl. Maybe my hands are too small? The bowl just slides around in my hands unless I hook my finger on the edge and chance sticking it in my food. The screw top is nearly impossible to unscrew with cold hands, also. I had to grasp the bowl with my knees and use both hands on the smooth curve of the top. I have a few other containers from Bentgo that have worked as intended. Its just this bowl that I had problems with.

Cute, decent size, fork & spoon is included. The fork and spoon are small but useful. Easy to open and use. Not heavy, easy to clean, and it looks very durable as it's made of thick plastic.

Very nice, perfect for school lunches. Cleans up very easily !

Bulky but works well. Just hard to get it undone based on the shape.

I ordered this product as I started working on-site and need to bring my lunch every day. This very cute bowl caught my attention: beautiful pink color and great reviews from satisfied customers. Excited about bringing chowder on my first day, I was thoroughly disappointed when I opened the bowl at lunchtime. The chowder was lukewarm, almost cold (it was very hot when I put it in). I really wanted to like this product, but the promise of keeping food hot unfortunately fell very short. I will however keep it for salads and other cold dishes (it is, after all, a very cute bowl).

Bought for my 10yr old for lunch. Keeps the food warm and does not leak. Best results if using a good brand lunch bag. We have a yeti lunch bag.

Great capacity. Love not having to eat out of a narrow thermos. Unfortunately does not adequately keep food warm. Put piping hot put piping hot food at 7 AM and it was tepid at 11
