I just got this book and I love it so much already. Her characters really do make you happy to look at :) I like that she shows how to draw the animals, but then also gives multiple other ideas on how to draw them as well as ideas of what else you can add to the drawing! Terry is definitely my favorite artist right now and I can’t wait to get her other book and the new one when it comes out!

I have always been envious of people who could draw. I have never had that talent or patience to learn it. Even my stick figures are nothing to look at. I really like Terry Runyan's whimsical style of art and thought I would give it a try during a recent winter storm. So I bought her book and gave it a try and have not been disappointed. She gives simple step-by-step visual instructions of each animal and then other examples to show how you can customize and infuse your own style. I have found that practicing the art of drawing has been very relaxing and I've enjoyed it a lot. I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved how the author managed to teach us how to draw 62 animals and included the special ideas of how to make them happy! If you're finding your way into animal drawing, I reccomend this book!

I follow Terry Runyan on Etsy and Instagram and love her work. I am a klutz when it comes to drawing, but this makes it really easy to practice. This book is great for kids of all ages!

Das Buch macht Spaß. Das Format ist groß, liegt gut in der Hand. Man kann auch kleine Details gut erkennen. Und es macht tierischen Spaß die Bilder nachzuzeichnen. Alles ist so liebevoll gestaltet. Einfach super!
