Can I swim in the pool with it on? Will it keep everything dry?

No. The fanny pack is water-resistant but not waterproof, do not take it into the pool.

can the i phones XS max fit in this? along with I'm very small and petite just at 5ft. will this fit me

My iPhone 6S can fit not sure of the size of XS, 2 phones can fit though. This is very cute and has few compartments and we can also put other things inside that we can organize and definitely can fit any height 😉
