I've bought these to use instead of real animal sea sponges as these are still natural cellulose rather than synthetic so eco friendly as well as ethical and cruelty free.They're very absorbent and were easy to cut up into uneven shapes to lift out clouds, waves etc. I'm very pleased with the results.A choice of sizes and irregular shapes would be great for this alternative purpose.Needed a very good rinse before first use is my only other niggle.
