I bought this for installing a shower filter, which I couldn’t install directly as it was too close to the wall. This arrived quickly. It comes with plumbers tape and different filters. I didn’t use the plumbers tape but still had no leaks. It’s very easy to install. Note as others say though, you will only be able to move the ball in the joint once it’s connected. (I spent a while trying to decide if it was broken or I was super weak before reading other reviews and realising this)! Once it’s connected it’s very easy to move into the position you need. It did make the cost of my filter quite a bit more expensive to install, but I couldn’t see any other options like this which were cheaper and fit for purpose. Overall recommend.

The placement of my existing bath tap, water lever, and wall, did not allow me to easily install a hard water filter, however this connector joint allowed just the extra leverage to simply install my water filter. As others have said, the ball joint is a little stiff but does work (not that I have any need for the ball joint). I notice no water leakage or impact on the flow rate - great little joint.

My downstairs shower has a big shower head but the up and over pipe doesn't have enough curve, so the water is aimed at about 15⁰, meaning you have to stand in the corner to get wet! This adapter gives the extra angle required for straight down showering. Good quality.

Seems a nice product so far. There was some slivers of metal found on the internal threads but they cleaned out okay. But (and this could be me) the shower does sound a little noisier to me. If it stays as good as it is now I'll be happy that it provided a simple, quick and effective way of allowing our shower head to be perfectly horizontal and provided lots of flexibility in the desired angle at a reasonable cost.

Easily replaced the broken ball joint fitting for our shower head. Didn't think the ball joint would be adjustable as I couldn't move it around by hand before I installed it, but it works fine when on. Half the price of the replacement from our shower heads supplier.

can the supplier provide any steps to move the ball joint? it can't be move by tool and hands

Works perfectly, enabling me to use a new shower head that was proving difficult to install as it didn’t have any flats to use. This joint made it a doddle to fit together on the bench , and as the top part has two flats 20 seconds with a spanner 🔧 For a perfect water seal & no marks on the chrome. Chrome all looks very good quality, it came with two washers and a mini role ptfe tape .

Brilliant. two years of showering the cubicle doors and now the water flows over me. Worth every pound spent.

Well this is a very easy to install unit. My problem was it was hard to get it to swivel as easily as needed. I realize this can be somewhat subjective as to each person who uses this, but this was just a little to hard to move for my wife and granddaughter . After installation I removed it to see if there was anything I could do ( I like this swivel). I noticed there was a way to adjust the tension and thus the ease of making it swivel. You needed an adjustable wrench and a 1/2 inch Allen (Hex) wrench and then it can be done easily. But 1/2 inch Allen who has a 1/2 inch Allen wrench ? So I ask my buddy that has a huge tool collection but he didn't have one that size either (in all those tool boxes!!). But he is a good guy and he messed around and found that a 1/2 inch chisel shaft (not the end end with the flat cutting edge) was a perfect1/2 inch hex! He lent me it and I used it to adjusted this to be easier to move in about two minutes and now everyone here is happy. It really is a quality product and maybe good for most people out of the box, it just wasn't for the short women in my life. I would recommend. I actually did have a 1/2 inch chisel in my tool collection , my buddy is just smarter than me. He will never read this review and I'm not telling him!

It is durable. It helps our shower head getting to the angle we desire. Good product.
