I wasn't very optimistic about this product considering the relatively low price, so I was delighted when I unwrapped it, found the casing to be substantial, and immediately played a DVD that wouldn't work on our laptops or TV. The size of the screen is perfect, the picture quality superb and the sound really good. As the main battery is rechargeable you don't need trailing wires. It plays DVDs, CDs, USBs....I'm so pleased with it. Highly recommended.

High quality device with excellent picture and sound quality. Very simple to use. It’s light and doesn’t heat up like some devices. Large screen size and good sized remote control. Comes with Car Charger, audio leads and option for extra Warranty.

Easy to set up and use. You do need to be more or less right in front of the screen to view it clearly and you can't adjust the light and dark on the screen, so some scenes seem a bit too dark. It is supposed to be good sound but, personally, I think it is a bit quiet, even at the highest setting. Nevertheless, for the price tis is a good product. The picture is large and clear and the sound is adequate.

Well it's summed up in the headline - so many of these devices have tiny screens of low quality but this one is great. Have been umming and ahhing over getting one for years as I really do hate viewing films or recorded TV on a laptop - they are too heavy, get hot, the fan whirrs, email alerts constantly distract etc. etc. So this is ideal - plus - and it's a really big plus for me, who has 100s of TV recorded DVDs - it seems to cope with most formats, and the picture aspect ratio and input is entirely adjustable - it takes some fiddling about, but once you know your way around it you'll never cut off the edges of the image again. I also have some films as MP4s on memory sticks and although I've yet to try this have confidence that it will work as everything else does. Sound is really good stereo - picture quality is great - big enough to give you a good sense of the film or TV director's art - don't you just hate watching movies on a phone? - you can sit on your sofa or bed in perfect peace and really get immersed in what you're watching without getting a sore hand or lap, as it is light enough not to bother you for hours. Kids taken over the TV? Wife watching hours of cookery or reruns of The Crown? Treat yourself to this and and escape to the den for a couple of hours and the relaxing de-stress experience of watching, say, your favorite 80's horror movie without tutting or other distracting noises off will turn you into a more lovable person. I can absolutely guarantee that this is true. So, this review is being written from a very particular perspective, I'm very well aware, but guys, it is actually called BOIFUN, so I'm pretty sure that you'll all know what I'm talking about here. It's great. £100 well spent.

Received this today for my little girl for Christmas to use when going away on short breaks and in car journeys when go away. I must say I am pretty impressed. It's a brilliant size, great value for money with good sound and quality from what I've seen so far. There is also a place for head phones which will be ideal when needed. Remote control is also handy. The size is great was really surprised when arrived.

Excellent product. Easy to operate. Good sound and picture quality. If you want a decent portable dvd player at a reasonable price this is it.

Really pleased with my purchase. Large screen with good picture resolution yet light and definitely portable . It has good sound with no drive noise which is important to me. The rechargeable battery has a 6 hour run time , ideal for in flight entertainment , the reason I purchased it. Be aware that the headphones input is a jack plug so I purchased a new pair of Sony as my headphones were not compatible. All in all happy with my purchase , at a good price too

Disappointed..... Very bad Quality. The colouring is awful on this, very dark even when the brightness is turned up. The image quality is fuzzy and the volume adjust itselfs from time to time.
