This pattern author does an excellent job using many photos, and customization options for little dolls. Well written, easy to understand, and difficulty levels are noted so I can get confidence on easier patterns and work my way up to more involved ones.The customer service was so helpful, and my book arrived securely in a plastic cover inside the plastic mailer so even on a rainy day my delivery was safe.

I’m so happy to have found this book that shows me new techniques that I use all the time now. She could update the book for larger font and removing extraneous words, but other than that what a joy to read.

I have been making these dolls for about 2 years, mainly for my little nieces, and the greatest challenge is finding really nice patterns. The designer of this book, Olka Novytska, is easily the best designer of amigurumis today. The book is fantastic, and is done for the 21st century. The instructions are not only very clear, but they come with a QBR code so you can go online and watch videos on how to do things. She also explains things that took me forever to learn, such as the difference between the yarn over and yarn under stiching. And finally of course are the unbelievably beautiful designs! Beware that you will need to make an investment in yarn, if you want the dolls to come out as beautiful as hers. I am off to get yarn, I will post more when I have tested some patterns!EDIT: I have made my first doll from the book. I can say instructions are great, but for me even a begginer's pattern such as the Blue Princess is difficult. However I am very happy with the results, and I hope the other ones I make turn out as great!

I just purchased this book and I haven’t started using the patterns but I plan too soon. I have purchased other patterns by this author and I love them. I got Xmas patterns through I made for my friend and she loved them and wants more. Which I’ve decided is a great idea for future birthdays and Xmas. I wish she had book for those patterns but when I saw this book I had to have, deciding to do the same for my friend’s daughter. The patterns are easy once you’ve done a couple as they have similar styles but there is always something a little different which makes it fun. I love the idea of giving my friend and now her daughter a new character for each present. It is something they will have to remember the years and I can see my friend passing on her set to her daughter one day. I posted a couple of pictures of the ones I have made using other patterns by this author. YES I know these are not in the book but I wanted to give a visual of the authors other patterns.

I have crocheted other amigurumi designs from this author found on Etsy or Ravelry. The instructions were very detailed, including color photos of each process, and as a beginner crocheter I created intricate looking toys. Once you've made one, the heads and bodies are the same for the others so they go quickly. The stitch dictionary in this book besides having a diagram, includes a QR Code next to the description. Hover your phone over it and watch a video of the stitch! The photography of the finished toys is beautiful. The mini kingdom includes 36 patterns. I'm making many of her patterns as Christmas tree ornaments. From this book, the unicorn is first on my list. You can't go wrong. Buy this book!
