Good for jello
Great for making jello for a group. I saw in many reviews that they may have some cracks, but I had no issues with any of the Petri dishes

Great addition to my science center.
These made a great impression on my preschool children. It's a great size for little ones to handle. They can be used with or without lids. They are a little on the thin side. Great price for the number of dishes you get. Nice to have replacements on hand.

One-Third Breakage
I confess that I took a gamble with these since the price was good and I was only going to use once. I read the reviews and figured that some would be broken. No problem, there were extras. But 10 of the 30 were broken, all lids. Just factor that into your calculations when you purchase.

Handle with care
I ordered these to put jello in for our 7 year old's bday party. They worked great for that, but they're pretty fragile so make sure you order extra if you're in need of a certain number.
