Get Even: The Complete Book of Dirty Tricks Paperback – January 21, 2020

Bought this for my daughter and she really loves it

While many of the techniques in this book are antiquated it is hilarious and gives inspiration for modifying things to fit modern technological advances. The company I bought the book from listed it as "good" condition. Actually it looks new. I'm fully satisfied on all counts.

Nothing in the book helps me...I was looking for items like the potato crammed up an exhaust pipe to keep a car from starting etc.......

After fighting in a War that took the lives of dozens of my friends and everyone hated me for participating in, I left the Military in 1978 and had to regain my footing in a Nation of changed values. I was angry and frustrated. After reading "Get Even...." in 1980, I was ready to get some payback. Fortunately a kind WWII Veteran and business owner saw what I was going through and hired me at a good wage. After 30 years of working in a highly technical field, I saw the old "Get Even.." in print again and had to buy it. After reading it I had to chuckle at myself for even contemplating "getting even" with anybody using these techniques. It was a very innovative, imaginative, and interesting book to published at the time and still a fun read. Why not, we had just elected a California movie star to be the President of the United States!

I thought they were all good.

I found the book to have little original information and the "tricks" not very practical. Descriptions of some of the outcomes were amusing however.

Read this tome years ago.. What an absolute joy to have it on the reading table again.Hey, karma usually takes care of the 'issues' we may have had time to time with unsavorycharacters. Other times,, well.. Your call. The cover art alone should prompt you to BUY NOW!GREAT BOOK!

Bought this book thinking. It would be something useful but it turns out to be not useful at all A waste of money

This book is fun to read but it does not offer ANY practical information on what the title or description says! If you'd like to read some fun fiction then buy it but if you want actual advice then look somewhere else. The description and title are NOT accurate!!!
