I will not be needing a new backwash hose for a long time. This Hose is amazing !!!I took the suggestion from another reviewer and instead of leaving it laying on the hot floor with the sun hitting it all the time. I bought a plastic garden hose hanger and have it hung on it. Take a few minutes to wrap it back up like the picture but I believe this will help it last even longer.- The hose is heavier than the cheap blue backwash hoses- The hose seems to have some type of weave built into the rubber of the hose making it sturdier- I purchased the 50' foot hose and the hose is just a tad over 50' so seller is selling spot on.- The hose did fit over a 2" fitting I had but just barely. My fitting though is not a 2" schedule 40 PVC but a thinner wall 2" fitting maybe that's why. You mileage may vary.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This big black hose is nice and thicc. It beats the wimpy blue hoses. I'll definitely be getting me another big black hose when it's time for a new one

We replaced our pool backwash hose because it kept splitting open. We definitely chose a better hose to replace that one. The material the new one is made of is much thicker and it’s very sturdy. It’s easy to roll up after use.

We will see but feels much heavier duty than the blue hose

This is our second hose with this company. We had a backwash pipe installed underground and needed a longer hose, so this repurchase was necessary. Otherwise, this is the strongest and best hose ever. We highly recommend it! Extremely durable, our old one bought 3 years ago is still great! We just needed a longer one since the pool remodel.

I’ve gone through the usual terrible blue hoses. This one is so thick, I’ll hide under it during a nuclear war.

The walls of this hose are thick and sturdy. Clamps are heavy duty. Have only used for a short time, but we are very happy with this purchase!

Perfect for pool backwash. Heavy duty easy to use for pool backwash. Once dried I was excited that I was able to roll it back into the small small roll size it came in. Highly recommend.
