I liked the idea of the blue sky within. It is OK, but somehow looks not quite right - the colour, the shadowed clouds. I used it for the first time today. Exited a tube station, put it up, walked 200 yards in very slight rain and not very strong gusts. It immediately turned inside out. Hardly windproof. On the plus side, the open close mechanism works fine. I have since discovered that to be windproof umbrellas need to have a double canopy. This one doesn't so should not claim to be windproof.09/04/2020 Up-dateIt has taken me a couple of months to do this as I was travelling on a busy schedule, returning to some health challenges.The seller contacted me fairly rapidly after my first review and offered me their golf umbrellas with canopies which are more than double the price of the umbrella I had purchased. Impressive. Instead, because the seller had intimated that it might be a fault, and I really do not need a giant golf umbrella, I purchased the same model but a different pattern.Unfortunately, I haven't been in particularly rainy/windy situations since I have received it. I always carry an umbrella with me in a large handbag (it has to be, this is not a small foldaway). Returning from a walk in the park, there were a few gusts of wind (no rain) so, feeling rather foolish, I opened my new umbrella. The frets moved up and down, but the umbrella did not turn inside out. Looks promising.For the excellent customer service in offering a higher range item promptly I will increase the rating to 3 stars. Once I get a chance to test the umbrella properly, I will give an update.

Bought for my thirteen year old daughter, the dots are burgundy not red. The brolly its self, seems sturdy and it opens and shuts with a button, which impressed my daughter far more then it should have done. Will be buying another for myself as I'm very impressed with it as far as being impressed by a brolly goes.

My wife loves this umbrella - looks like a normal black umbrella until you see the sunflower on the inside. Several people have stopped her in the street asking where she got it from. It seems to be strong and sturdy and has held well with the gusty winds and rain we have had over the past week. Its also a lot bigger than her old one and therefore provides better cover. Recommended

Pleased with this umbrella as I was fed up with ones that blew inside out and weren't particularly water proof. This one is sturdy and a good size. It isn't small though but would suit in a medium size bag but it is well worth it for those windy wet days

I bought this umbrella as a quick needed replacement for my old one, it was quite weak and iverused. More importantly, with the harsh weather here in the UK it has not really been the best to keep and use and therefore I really needed a quick substitute.The price of this umbrella is fairly acceptable, in fact it gives the impression that it will work well and be the perfect match and that I wouldn’t have any issues, however, I was wrong.The umbrella came slightly defected to begin with and I was not really impressed to see this. I was reliant on its professional appearance and also the price but it just was not the one.The design of the umbrella is fairly nice and attractive but what's the point if your umbrella, does not work as expected.Opening and closing the umbrella is fairly straight forward and I do not see any issues with it but I do think it can do more with if it coped with strong winds in the UK.I wanted it also comes with a small carry bag should you need it.

I've probably got through 5 or 6 cheap umbrellas over the past few months, so spent a bit more on this one, and so far, it's paid off. This umbrella is really sturdy and the material is thick enough to keep anyone dry in a torrential downpour. Brilliant

I do like the quick way the umbrella opens up/closes but it is very heavy to carry around in your bag. I think somepeople will struggle to close it The button only closes the dome and it requires quite a lot of strength to push the handle stick back down. When I leant it to a friend, she was unable to close it completely and I was disappointed with product. When it said press button to open it extends the handle. When you press the button to close it, I thought it would collapse the handle as well. It does not - unless mine is faulty.

I am really pleasantly surprised by this umbrella, it’s much better quality than I expected tbh. The button and the mechanism to open it up feel really solid, and it’s very satisfying to press the button and have the umbrella immediately unfold. The whole thing stands up to wind really well, it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Although it’s a little heavier than other umbrellas of the same size, it fits in my (on the larger side) handbag just fine. I love the design of plain black on top and the blue sky underneath too.
