Does a good job.
It seems to help with static and does a really nice job of cleaning up the stray dust particles. Easy to attach to my turntable.

Works Great
Just received today and had it on my turntable in a matter of minutes. Extremely easy set up and the product is well built. I did purchase the other brush arm that had two for the same price. I was very disappointed in that was of poor quality and didnโt work well at all, returned it and just bought this one. There is a major difference between this one and the other. I only played two records so far and the tracking was perfect and coincided with the tone arm. It definitely cleans Your records, helps with the pops and keeps your needle clean. Very happy with this and highly recommend it! UPDATE Its been a few days and I have played about 10 albums and it continues to work extremely well. The tracking of the arm is perfect and without a doubt the record and the stylus stay clean. This is a very good item and does the job! Only have good things to say about it.

Product should include an armrest for its brush arm
This record cleaning brush has a carbon fibre bristle core (and grounding wire, that you usually connect to your amplifier) that helps drain static electricity from vinyl records, as they spin. It neutralizes muchโโ but NOT ALLโโof the static cling that attracts dust and creates clicks & pops as a record is being played. After playing, the disc needs to be removed, flipped, or changed; which means the anti-static arm has to be swung out of the way, of course. Howeverโunless you spend the time to REMOVE the anti-static arm from its stand, and tuck it safely awayโyour brush tip will probably end up resting somewhere on a dirty part of the turntable, while youโre changing your records! A more useful & practical addition would be to include an integrated, adjustable ARMREST for the brush, so it doesnโt touch anything when not actively being used. When the brushโs arm is swung off the record and placed on the armrest, it would serve to keep the brush tip suspended ABOVE the turntable surface and prevent the brush from getting dirty, or unnecessarily worn. Lack of a brush lift is not a major deficiency; but, having this feature would add a lot to this already very nice product.

Read direstions, see video, you might not notice losing the wire
The way this comes packaged, it seems pretty clear everything is in there you'll need, except an instruction sheet. I get it though, it's so idiot-simple the printed instructions on the back of the box will work, if not, there's a link to a video. I honsestly thought this had been a product return that was re-sent. I couldn't find the connecting wire. And the lower-mass weight on the front end of the arm seemed out of place somehow. I almost returned it as missing parts until I looked down at my shoes under my desk and there was the wire. Rolled and wrapped up with a rubber-band, I didn't even see it fall out of the package, or notice it inside from the outside. It was late, I'd worked two back-to-back shifts 14 hours each and with sleep apnea, well, I wasn't really thinking clearly. Next morning, bright-eyed and fully caffeinated, I took a second look at what I had, READ the instructions - again - and had this up and running in about two minutes. Hardest part was getting two spade terminals onto the ground wire point on my preamp at the same time. Balancing? EZPZ. Sliding the weight a bit forward to BARELY get the goat or whatever sacrificial animal's hairs to ALMOST dig into the grooves to the arm would track and whaddya know... an album I had played just a few short days earlier was QUIET in the quiet sections, NO static pops OR cockatoo dander snap crackle and popping at random. While most of the dander/dust problem I've worked my way around, whatever little bit was left was GONE. Even more, a colored vinyl disc on a deerskin mat seems to be the WORST combination for static cling, but there wasn't any. So pros: Easy to set up. Works as advertised. Kind of gimmicky but this kind of static brush has been used on records (vinyl, bakelite, shellac) going on a hundred years and it does work, just got to get it set up right. Cons: Not entirely idiot proof. Install when fully rested for best effects.

Such a simple device with such a huge impact!
If you are like me and you collect vinyl, you must really hate dust. Doesn't it seem that you freshly dust the living room only to turn around an hour later and it's all dusty again? I just can't stand that. The same goes for my vinyl records. I have several high-end turntables in my collection and if I play a record without first cleaning it through the ultrasonic cleaner there may be a little bit of dust accumulation on the record. Also sometimes there could be a small amount of static. This device simply rests on the plinth of your turntable and mine is at the back rear left, and it's so incredibly featherlite it affects nothing as far as turntable speed or anything else. The brush delicately whisks away any dust while the record is playing as well as seems to remove any static so popping another noises are greatly reduced, and it also tends to keep the turntable stylus much cleaner and not accumulate as much on the stylus as normal. for such a low cost device and such a simple design I'm very impressed with the performance of this device and I can thoroughly recommend it for anyone who is serious about their vinyl and hates dust at all costs. Two thumbs up! By the way, if you want to see these devices in action there are plenty of videos on YouTube which is where I first saw them, and they deliver what they promise. I hope this helps!

A Must-Have for Vinyl Lovers!
The Vinyl Record Cleaning Arm is an absolute game-changer for maintaining my record collection. This little accessory is incredibly effective and easy to use, making it an essential addition to my turntable setup. The anti-static brush with carbon fiber center bristles does a fantastic job of gently removing dust and static buildup from my records as they play. It helps improve sound quality by reducing pops and crackles, ensuring a clean and enjoyable listening experience. Plus, the anti-static feature works wonders for keeping my records in pristine condition over time. I love how adjustable and versatile this cleaning arm is. It fits perfectly alongside my turntable and works seamlessly with various record sizes. The arm is sturdy, well-balanced, and glides effortlessly across the record without causing any damage. Setting it up was a breeze, and I appreciate how sleek and unobtrusive the design is โ it doesnโt interfere with the aesthetics of my setup. For anyone who cares about protecting their vinyl investment, this cleaning arm is a no-brainer. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking to take their vinyl listening experience to the next level. Itโs affordable, effective, and a joy to use!

Nice brush, nominal improvement in noise/static
Seems well built and easy to install, a 5 minute setup. The balance is delicate, but functional once you have it level. The counterweight screw is solid, but the arm weight floats a bit more than I would like. I think the brush helps more than the grounding, as I notice little, if any, improvement in noise/static. I don't see any harm in having it and it should help keep the vinyl clean(er). I do see potential placement issues with many TTs due to the orientation of the ground connection and the arm levers; clearing both with a cover on will be tricky for many, if not a showstopper.

Another quality product from Hudson Hi-Fi
I absolutely love this automatic vinyl brush! It has so many good qualities. Where to even begin? I'll make a list: 1. It's automatic. You just set it down on the record, just like the needle arm, and it does the rest. The fine hairs on the brush clean deep into the record grooves while automatically moving along the tracks, just like the needle does, so it always stays perfectly just ahead of your needle, and cleans each part of the record just before your needle plays it. Absolutely incredible cleaning with no effort at all. 2. The accuracy. It's perfect--it moves at the exact same speed as the needle around the record moving inwards, and cleans deeply because of the thin hairs. 3. It removed static. Hudson developed it to take static away at the brush tips and move it all the way down the ground cable to be removed entirely. I noticed significantly less pops and crackles with this brush. 4. It's a complete clean. All that's left at the end is a ring of dust on the very inside of the record, next to the lable, where no music tracks are, and it's easy to clean off with any other cleaning item. 5. The precise construction. They really went deep into detail with this brush. It has a counterweight which is perfectly balanced, such that you can screw it to levitate off the record, or sit right on it, which allows me to keep the brush elevated while not in use. It has a rotation "hinge" that is super unique and very sensitive, and this works together with he counterweight to create the perfect amount of pressure on the surface of the record. It's just so well made. I can't even describe it all, you'll just have to get one and see! All in all, this brush does what it should do, and does it automatically. It's a great addition to any record player!

Item works as designed, great addition to any vinyl LP record collector and listener
This easy to setup and use record cleaner and de-statisizer works as it was designed. Contrary to many beliefs the clicks and pops heard on vinyl LP's is usually not dirt or grunge, at least not on well cared for and properly cleaned LP's. But it's often static charge build up on your vinyl LP's. Though ground in dirt on often or notably used LP's may not be cleanable, and groove damage, scuffs or scratches will be heard as clicks, pops and distortions, if one can keep ahead of dust that falls on your vinyl LP's as you listen to them and can reduce static charges, then you will often your vinyl LP listening to be more enjoyable. This Hudson record cleaning wand set up is to be used in conjunction with good record cleaning set up. I personally use a Spin Clean Record Washer to clean all my vinyl LP's firstly. This does a great job of deep cleaning records. But one thing I find Spin Clean may add, is static build up as you wipe dry the vinyl LP's after washing them. This may cause one to think it does not clean well enough, but it does. You just have to get at the static charges next. When playing your vinyl LP's you should run at first a carbon fibre brush before play, making sure to ground out the brush over the spindle or other metal surface that is grounded on the turntable as you destatisize the brush. Run it a few times over your LP's before lowering the tonearm for play. Another choice is a record brush used with cleaning fluid to dampen it such as the Discwasher cleaning brush and D4 fluid (the older ones used from the 70's and 80's are best). The Audio Technica AT-6012 record brush and fluid are a good choice for new alternatives as well as there are other brands which may work well enough too. But it's important to run a cleaning brush over the LP before listening to it so as to help rid of some surface dust and to help reduce built up static, especially in the dryer winter months. But here is where this Hudson record cleaning wand can help improve things more. It runs over the vinyl LP grooves as you play the album. It sweeps away falling dust and helps reduce static charges that cause clicks and pops. I found that once you balance the wand with the twist-able back counter weight, to then turn it just a couple turns forward and then slide the little slip weight to the front of the wand. This I found just has the brush fibres sit a bit harder on the record surface. Be careful if you have a belt drive turntable with fixed speeds though as this can cause a bit more drag slowing even if slightly the turntable speed down. If your turntable has variable pitch control you can adjust for this. If your turntable is quartz locked controlled, the computer will likely adjust the speed accordingly. This all said, I found the Hudson cleaning wand set up to do EXACTLY what it is to do, sweep falling dust away and help reduce static. No, it may not stop all clicks and pops, for again those could also be from ground in dirt and grunge or from groove damage, scuffs and scratches. But if your vinyl is generally clean and quiet, this addition may keep it that way for you. Well worth the money to try if you p,an on being a vinyl LP listener and collector.

Looks good and works well
This probably the most convenient and always available, without any cost in time, a way to make sure your vinyl is at its best when you play it. Itโs made of metal, and good quality and defies its low cost. Simple to fit so long as you make sure it clears the turntable lid. There are parameters for it to work at its optimum such as angle to the record surface that should try to be adhered to. It also has an earthing lead which reduces static build up on the surface of your vinyl. Itโs a great product.
