It's expensive compared to a massive # published self-help book (it's not a super long book nor does it have fancy formatting... but concise), but for what it is... an affordable basic intro to the consulting people spend thousands on, it's worth every penny. There are priceless nuggets of info and statistics you WILL NOT FIND on the internet no matter how many hours you search, and insider strategies they advise consulting clients on.I read it, my son read it, and we applied what we learned to the application and interview and I'm proud to say he is now on a 3-year ROTC scholarship to a big 10 school, the best college he got into out of the 20 schools he applied to. He wasn't the strongest candidate, so it's honestly possible that what he learned in this book was the difference between him getting the 3 year on the last board of the year, and him going without a scholarship.

The book was incredibly helpful in guiding my daughter through the entire process. The tips and guidance provided are helpful for someone who is not familiar with the rotc application. It was definitely one of the contributing factors in my daughter receiving a scholarship.

I believe this is a must have book if you are applying for AROTC!We purchased this for our daughter as she completes her AROTC application. It is chock full of 'nutrient-dense' information. There is no doubt - the author definitely has been there, done that, got the t-shirt for Army ROTC scholarships. You will be getting the straight scoop from one of the very few people who have EVER been a Army PMS at TWO programs. It is hard to imagine a more qualified exert on this very topic.With today's drawdown it is probably more important, than ever, to purchase this book to help your candidacy. My only regret is he did not write this last spring as there was information that could have shaped our thinking and process when my daughter was wrapping up her Junior year.The price to benefit ratio is out of this world - spend $10 and help your son/daughter win a scholarship worth $180,000 - no brainer!This is so good I hope you do NOT buy it so my child has a competitive advantage!
