All families argue
My grandson likes to read these books to me, and I like that it has a good side to the story. It acknowledges the scripture to point us the reader in the right direction. I have read these to my grandson since he was 4, he began reading The Berenstain Bear's to me since about 5 years. I highly recommend to all young children, but even my granddaughter of 12 likes to read them to her younger brother.

Delightful and Wholesome
Growing up in the 80s, these classic books were a huge part of my early literacy years. Now my own children have experienced hours of joy pouring over this series. We own several titles. My husband and I especially appreciate the life lessons and moral integrity that they provide. When it comes to wholesome reading for the little ones, Bearenstain will not disappoint.

Exceptional for younger kids.
An excellent book for my grandkids who are 2, 4, and 6. We have most of the BB books around here, but this one has no 'bad guys' or questionable story pieces that are uncomfortable for little ones, just people who are different. It is now one of their very favorites. It is well done - both the story line as well as the lesson are clear and easy to understand.

Who is my neighbor?
A good story about being a good neighbor and not judging others based on appearances.

No plot - Strange Message
This book really has no plot. The story is extremely boring. I'm so disappointed, I was really excited to find a Christian book for my kids but they have no interest in reading this. The pictures are great, of course! Just wish the story matched! And the idea that a picture could change the whole attitude of a family in one day is just so beyond reason...... Another example of "works" based Christianity. No dependence on Christ being taught here, just a typical "be good by your own merrits" message... As if any child (or adult!) can live up to that. It isn't what I want my kids to think being a follower of Christ is about.
