Better than ecpected
I was really shocked when I opened the package. The weight, solid stainless steel and smooth. watched the unwrapping as it was being taken out of the box. I read the directions and explanations . To not cost as much as others I have used, I was shocked at the ease of handling and the strength it had. I buy again many times over !!!

A solid masher you need for your kitchen and culinary adventures
I don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. It made my kitchen work so much easier. It's sturdy and feels heavy-duty enough to stand up to some serious bean or potato mashing. The handle is long enough to use in deeper bowls or pans, and has a smooth, rubber-coated surface. The main components are stainless steel and we've thrown it in our dish washer multiple times and never had an issue with it tarnishing or flaking, like some so-called "stainless steel" that is just cheap metal with a chrome coating of some sort.

Heavy duty steel
Heavy duty stainless steel is correct. Perfect and durable for many uses. For the price I paid I thought it will be flimsy and cheap but it is perfectly worth to buy.
